Yet, it's safe to say that the second series of the popular ITV2 dating show will be remembered as one of the most explosive to date.

Despite a whopping nine years since series two graced our screens, some Islanders remain fan favourites, including blonde beauty Rachel Fenton.

The now 32 year old fashion influencer entered the villa on day seven and immediately hit it off with Rykard Jenkins.

Things seemed to be going well until she was left heartbroken after learning that Rykard had slept with fellow Islander Olivia Buckland the day after their night in the hideaway.

Despite this hiccup, they decided to give their relationship a shot, but her time in the Love Island villa was cut short when viewers voted her off the show on day 15.

She has chosen to keep her new relationship out of the public eye, and it remains unclear whether they are still together, though she continues to reside in Dubai.

Rachel previously ignited rumours of a romance with The Only Way is Essex star James 'Lockie' Lock after being seen together just three months following his break up from Yasmin Oukhellou.

The TOWIE star and former Love Island contestant were photographed hand-in-hand as they exited Jin Bo Law rooftop bar at the Dorsett City hotel in London, before being spotted entering the same taxi together, but their fling was short-lived.
