“Love Is Blind” couple Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis hit a major setback in their relationship during Season 7.
In the final minutes of Episode 9, which dropped on Netflix Wednesday, Francis revealed to his bride-to-be that he was a sperm donor to three children — a fact he chose not to disclose amid their courtship in the pods.
“I left. I needed to separate and get by myself and just get my thoughts together,” Adionser said in the episode after Francis’ shocking revelation.
The couple appeared to be one of the season’s strongest matches, however Adionser began to express doubts after learning about her fiancé’s secret.
“I just don’t understand how our superpower seems like it’s not our superpower anymore,” she said.
“I feel like we had such great communication and I don’t understand how two weeks before our wedding you drop this kind of bomb.”
The 32-year-old marketing director then admitted she was replaying “every conversation” she ever had with Francis to understand why he didn’t reveal he was a sperm donor sooner.
“We’re talking about merging a union and joining lives. This is something I should have known before agreeing to say yes [to marry you],” Adionser said.
Francis admitted that losing Adionser’s trust was the “last thing” he wanted, especially so close to their wedding day.
Although the account manager, 34, apologized, Adionser still had reservations about their impending nuptials since they had previously discussed having children.

“How did you even talk about any of that? I just can’t wrap my mind around it without even considering your past at all?” she said. “Like, we’ve talked about kids every day. It’s not your kids, but they are your kids.”
Adionser then accused Francis of not giving her the “full picture” after he revealed that the children include “two girls and a boy.”
“You have shown me nothing. Like, ‘Here are the documents that show I’m not involved.’ I need to know everything,” she said.
Adionser then admitted that “it’s hard not to question everything” because he failed to be completely honest at the beginning.
Francis said her feelings were “valid” and told her he’s only asking “for a chance” not “forgiveness.”
However, Adionser was still questioning the relationship. “What do we have, love? Is love enough? For a relationship or marriage? I don’t know,” she said.
