Love Is Blind Season 8 Premiere Date Revealed
Netflix released the premiere date for Love is Blind season eight—and it’s so on-brand
Love is Blind season eight will officially introduce a brand-new pod squad.
Thanks to a new group of singles looking for love in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Valentine’s Day just got a whole lot sweeter—and messier.
So grab your metallic wine glasses, because the newest season of Netflix’s hit reality dating series is set to premiere Feb. 14. And after the shocking twists and turns during season seven, you won’t want to miss what connections are tested next.
To refresh your memory on last season’s outcome—where two couples wed after choosing to get engaged sight unseen—a lot went down after the pairs made it out the pods.
While seven couples initially decided to ditch modern dating in lieu of matching up without ever seeing one another, the duos who ultimately made it far enough to say “I do”—and in some cases “I don’t”—included Marissa George and Ramses Prashad, Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans, and of course, Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser.
Meanwhile, the duos that called it quits after returning to Washington D.C. from their romantic getaway in Mexico did so with all the theatrics. Indeed, Alexandra Byrd and Tim Godbee, Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson, and of course, Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka, each decided to part ways far before the big day.
But two couples seemed to come out victorious. After all, Ashley and Tyler tied the knot during the season finale alongside Taylor and Garrett.
But split rumors for one pair of newlyweds began to circulate when it was revealed that just two weeks before Ashley and Tyler jumped the broom, Tyler was keeping the news of his three "sperm donor babies" private.
And though Ashley stuck by her man and clapped back at haters during the season seven reunion, she recently announced that they have, indeed, broken up.
Meanwhile, Brittany Wisniewski and Leo Braudy left the show engaged until the pair decided to split amicably after an off-camera trip to Miami.
"Honestly, the first few days, we had so much fun," Brittany told People in an interview published Oct. 2. "You have freedom, you're just out and about, you have your phone, and you're just talking about all the good times that you just had. And then things start to get real."
As Leo put it, once the pair faced reality, they faced natural challenges that forced them ro reevaluate their relationship.
"As things settle down, you're kind of like, 'OK, we're here. You're wearing my ring on your finger. Let's talk about this,'" he added. "We had a lot of conversations throughout the trip, and mutually came to the conclusion that we just didn't see it turning into marriage."
