Warning: this story contains spoilers from episodes 1-6 of Love Is Blind season 7.

Love Is Blind's Hannah Jiles will definitely be a bit more careful the next time she writes down her feelings!

Fans watched – and likely cringed — in the first batch of episodes from the Netflix hit's seventh season as Hannah, 27, accidentally left out a bullet point list that detailed the red flags she potentially saw in fiancé Nick Dorka.

This came after the two butted heads on their Mexico getaway after Nick playfully rode an inflatable duck alongside another female tourist, which Hannah perceived as disrespectful after he was a bit too "touchy" with her and she began making fun of Hannah.

Though the couple talked it out in front of cameras, Hannah is now setting the record straight, telling PEOPLE that leaving her list out was a total mistake and she never intended for Nick to see it.

"I did not mean to," she says. "Listen, that list was a rough draft. Okay? I'm the type of person who writes all her emotions down and the little incident of Nick with the lady and that [duck], it wasn't a big deal but I see things that could potentially be a problem, so these are the red flags maybe or flaws I see."

"I didn't get to the green flags yet and I had just wrote in my notebook, put it to the side," she says. "It was literally under leaves, so you couldn't see it. And I was going to come back to it, but I did not get the chance, but it's okay. He found it and I said, 'Okay, we're doing this, let's address it.'"

Nick, on the other hand, tells PEOPLE he found her list to be "confusing," despite knowing that "people express themselves in different ways."

"I'd gotten done with an interview. I went back to the room and Hannah went to her interview and the note was beside the bed. And so I saw it, and I was a little confused because we had done a good job of talking face to face about any problems or issues we had," he recalls.

"I understood where she was coming from and tried to work on all of those bullet points," he adds. "I didn't think [the duck incident] was that big of a deal. But then I started to see her doing those things and harping on those issues and I was trying to work on that for her."

After a love triangle in the pods with Nick and Leo Braudy, Hannah ultimately chose Nick to pursue an engagement with. He proposed inside the pods before they met face to face, in a first reveal that she deemed somewhat underwhelming.

"In the pods, he described himself as a football player, bigger, medium build, 5-foot-11, and what he said I don't think is really truthful," Hannah told cameras after the reveal.

Despite that, the two jetted off to Mexico to grow their connection. Episode 6 ended with Hannah having a heart-to-heart conversation with Nick after the duck incident, telling him she has "concerns" for their relationship that she wants to "address" before they make it to the altar.

After Mexico, the two will head back to Washington D.C., where they'll move in together and integrate their lives before deciding whether or not to say "I do" on their wedding day.

Episodes 1-6 of Love Is Blind season 7 are now streaming on Netflix, and episodes 7-9 will drop on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
