Love Is Blind's Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis Break Up After His “Sperm Donor” Controversy liennhi

Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis's love may have been blind, but it didn't stand the test of time.

The couple—who met and got married on season seven of Netflix's Love Is Blind—have called it quits after a little over one year of marriage, Ashley confirmed in a heartbreaking message.

"After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage," the 33-year-old told People in a Jan. 21 statement. "While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage."

And Ashley insisted that the decision to go their separate ways was "not made lightly." In fact, she described the choice as being "necessary for my own growth and peace."

"While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared," Ashley continued. "I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support."

And while Tyler hasn't publicly spoken out about the breakup, he previously addressed rumors they were having marital issues over his three children.

Back in October 2024, he denied speculation that he lied to Ashley about the nature of his relationship with his alleged sperm donor children, who he only confessed to having two weeks before their wedding.

At the time of his admission—seen in episode nine of the show's seventh season—Tyler insisted he didn't even know what his kids looked like. However, photos of him with his alleged children later leaked on social media ahead of the installment's reunion.

"There's pictures of me around," Tyler acknowledged during the October 2024 special. "I played a part that became very shaky with a friend. There's no rule books to this, but I do want to let people know Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world, this has never been news to us."

And Ashley defended the 35-year-old's stance on the controversy, emphasizing that their full conversation wasn’t shown on camera.

As Ashley explained during the reunion, "For people to imply that 'She was blindsided,' 'She didn't know,' is insulting to my intelligence."

Brittany Wisniewski and Leo Braudy: Not Together

Though the now-famed art dealer decided to pop the question to the Keeping Well author following his love triangle with Hannah Jiles, the pair ultimately decided after their short engagement, they were better off as friends.

“The chemistry just wasn't there,” Brittany previously told People in a joint interview with Leo. “We had a talk in the beginning about how this could work and then time went on during the trip and the chemistry just wasn't there and we mutually felt that. We're very good communicators, so it was not a big ordeal. It was a very clean, respectful realization.”

Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson: Not Together

Monica and Stephen’s relationship came to a screeching halt when she uncovered “really kinky” sext messages sent between her fiancé and another woman, causing the pair to break up shortly after they arrived home from Mexico. As for Stephen, he apologized in the moment during episode eight, but he also shared a message on social media once the episode aired.

"I hope I didn't ruin anyone's day by existing," he wrote on Instagram Stories Oct. 8, "and if I did, I'm sorry you had to wake up this morning. I wish you didn't have to either. But I'll love you all the same."

Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka: Not Together

Once Hannah and Nick embarked on life outside the pods, the two had their fair share of ups and downs—and disagreements—to say the least. (Let’s not forget: “I think you get treated as an equal when you star contributing like an equal.”)

And it all came to a head when Hannah decided they wouldn’t make down the aisle. As for Nick, he called their breakup “one of the worst feelings of my life.”

Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.

“I’ve learned a lot, I’ve learned there’s things I need to work on,” she said during an October episode of The Viall Files podcast. “For example, I am a very direct person. I know that but I think my delivery is rough. And I’ve learned that delivery is everything.”
