Love Is Blind returns to Netflix with two new Irish hopefuls on the quest for love ngocc

The highly anticipated Netflix series Love Is Blind is returning to our screens, and with the new cast freshly announced, Irish viewers will be delighted to hear that we have not one but two hopefuls flying the flag for the Emerald Isle.

The reality show focuses on a social experiment in which singletons set out on their quest for love with the hope of getting engaged, all before they meet their partner in person.

The show follows several single people who want to be loved for who they are—in doing this, they have signed up for more ‘out there’ ways of dating and will choose someone to marry before they get the chance to meet them.

Over a number of weeks, the newly engaged couples must move in together, plan their weddings, and determine whether they are physically attracted to each other despite establishing strong emotional connections in the Love Is Blind Pods.

Dubliner Conor Griffin, a 31-year-old health foods business owner, is the first Irish contestant to join the cast.

Cheeky chappy Conor has a flirtatious personality and has been single for over seven years after struggling to find somebody with who he can truly connect.

After losing his mum three years ago, he wants to settle down and start a family, determined to make her proud.

Also joining Conor from the Emerald Isle is Sabrina Egerton, a 35-year-old Belfast native.

Sabrina, a communications and marketing director, has been unlucky in love and hopes that the Pods will lead her to the man of her dreams.

She believes that the Pods will give her the opportunity to get deep with a man from the start. She would like to find someone who has worked through their own issues and wants to grow with her.

Love Is Blind returns to our screens in August and will be released on Netflix on two dates. The first four episodes will air on August 7, while another three will come to the streaming platform on August 14—the countdown is on, and we can’t wait!
