Loose Women's Gloria Hunniford 'snaps' at Denise Welch on daytime TV show
There was tension on the Loose Women panel this week after Gloria Hunniford 'snapped' at Denise Welch after she attempted to cut in while she was telling a story. The ladies were talking about perming techniques on Thursday's show, 30 May, when the incident happened.
Gloria, 84, and Denise, 66, were joined by Kaye Adams, 61, and Dame Kelly Holmes, 54, for the popular afternoon show. They opened up the show discussing the comeback of the perm hairstyle.Gloria shared her experiences with the popular hairdressing technique.
Recalling her own experience, Gloria said: "It's archaic when I look back because we used to be latched to this machine." Denise then went to interrupt her, asking about the specific "perm machine" Gloria mentioned.
But Gloria wasn't phased, snapping at her to "Hang on a sec". This triggered a wave of laughter from the audience as Denise reacted with a faux-surprised face, reports the Express.
Gloria then said to Denise: "You're too young to remember this machine so look at it." Kaye Adams couldn't help but interject with a cheeky comment, calling the machine a "milking machine", even as Gloria tried to continue her story for the third time.
