LOOSE Women star Katie Piper is set to take audiences behind the scenes of a US prison in a gripping new documentary series.
Following the success of her previous show, Katie Piper: Jailhouse Mums, the TV presenter will return to screens with Katie Piper: Locked Up In Louisiana.
The four part series is set to air on U&W in 2025.
In this latest installment, Katie will immerse herself in the lives of female inmates at the New Orleans Parish Prison.
The documentary aims to uncover the complex factors that led these women to commit serious crimes through exploring their backgrounds, personal traumas, and life choices.
Katie's involvement isn't just for the cameras - she’s committed to understanding the motivations behind these actions and aiding in rehabilitation efforts.

Reflecting on the experience, Katie shared: "For some this isn’t simple, and we consider how a wide range of factors effect different people in different ways.
"I hope that it gives viewers an insight into something that isn’t perhaps as straightforward as you would initially think and gives us all some pause for thought.
"I’m really proud to be making this second series with Flicker and U&W – they are an all-female team that has empathy and storytelling as the heart of what they do."
