Lisa Vanderpump confirmed to Andy Cohen that there’s no way she’d return to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” On the March 5 episode of his Sirius XM show “Andy Cohen Live,” the Bravo host cold-called the veteran reality star on a “Call a Bravo Friends’ segment and talked turned to her RHOBH future—or not.
When Cohen called Vanderpump live, he first warned her that she was on the radio.
“Okay, you’re going to give me some really good news, like I’m going back to your Housewives or something?” Vanderpump cracked.
“Oh, would that be good news to you or bad news?” Cohen asked.
“I’ve been waiting for this call for so long,” Vanderpump deadpanned.
She is so full of [expletive],” Cohen laughed.
“You’re right, I am!” Vanderpump agreed.
Vanderpump was a main cast member on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for nine seasons. She quit the show in 2019 following that season’s messy “PuppyGate” drama, and she was a no-show for the reunion taping.
Andy Cohen Said the Question About LVP Comes Up A Lot
During the conversation, Cohen noted that speculation about Vanderpump returning to RHOBH continues to come up more than five years after her exit from the franchise. He added, “By the way, every time it comes up, I’m always like, ‘have y’all checked with LVP? Because I believe that she’s given her answer.’ Don’t be bothering me with this.”
“I think the last thing I said was there’s more chance of a pig flying to the moon,” Vanderpump recalled.
In early February, Vanderpump told TMZ that her former castmate Lisa Rinna’s speculation that Bravo producers were “courting” her was off the mark.
When asked if she would ever consider a return to RHOBH, Vanderpump replied to the outlet, “Oh, there’s a pig flying to the moon. There’s more chance of that!”
Rinna’s remarks came during a January 2025 podcast interview. “I heard that [Vanderpump might return],” Rinna said on the “That’s a Gay A** Podcast.” “They’re always looking to save [the show]. They know it’s the Titanic. I’m just gonna say it. And we all know it’s the [expletive] Titanic. And so, I would imagine that they are courting the [expletive] out of [Vanderpump] right now. Because, like who else? They know I’m not going back.”
“I’d be interested to see if she actually does it,” Rinna speculated of Vanderpump. “My guess is she will.”
Andy Cohen Has Long Agreed That Vanderpump Won’t Ever Return to RHOBH
Cohen gets the brunt of the Vanderpump questions. In 2019, he expressed disappointment when she skipped the season 9 reunion. “I wish she had come. It’s hard because her voice isn’t being heard, and so I think it was important to hear from her,” he told E! News at the time.
Around that same time, Cohen told Us Weekly he hoped Vanderpump would come back to RHOBH in the future. “I mean, the door’s wide open for her. And I think that when she comes back, she’ll come back with a vengeance,” he said in June 2019.
But over the years, it has become clear that Vanderpump’s days as a diamond holder are done. In January 2025, he addressed a rumor report from OK magazine that claimed he was “eyeing” the RHOBH OG as part of a crazy cast shakeup.
“Let me restate my abject love for Lisa Vanderpump, but I don’t know where the rumor came from,” he said on “Andy Cohen Live,” “And, like, I kind of, I don’t see her coming back to that show. I don’t even think she has any desire or they have any desire to interact,” he added of Vanderpump and her estranged former castmates Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley.
