Lindsay Hubbard slams Amanda Batula's 'unnecessary' comments calling her 'rude' tram

Lindsay Hubbard found it “unnecessary” when Amanda Batula dubbed her the “rudest” member of the “Summer House” cast.

“I think the whole thing was f–king unnecessary,” Hubbard, 36, said in Friday’s episode of Katie Maloney’s “You’re Gonna Love Me” podcast. “I don’t think it even should’ve happened.”

Hubbard explained that she didn’t understand where Batula’s comment “came from” since she thought they were on good terms.

”I think Amanda answering the way that she did — it felt like a direct slap in the face,” she continued. “It felt very unnecessary, and it felt like an attack of my character.”

Hubbard said she felt that Batula, 31, should know how much she goes “above and beyond” with fans because they both frequent events for Loverboy, which Batula’s husband founded and later employed Batula and Hubbard’s fiancé, Carl Radke.

“I went to a lot of those events with Carl, and I just feel like instead of turning around and being like, ‘Oh, Lindsay is the rudest to fans’ … you’ve never even acknowledged all the events I went to to support and promote your company,” the publicist said, later asking, “What the hell did I do to you?”

Hubbard explained that while she knew Batula simply made the remark during a “silly game” on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” last month, it could’ve affected her career since a big chunk of it is “showing up for fans [and] talking to them on social media.”

“It’s the exact opposite of what you’re saying right now, so I take very highly offense to that,” she added.

“For every 100 times I walk out of my house, Amanda walks out once. It’s not a fair call of my character to say, ‘Lindsay’s the rudest to fans.’ Like, I’m in front of fans a hundred times more than you.”

When Batula first made the jab, Hubbard quickly took to social media to clap back.

“I don’t work for Loverboy yet showed up to support my friends over 30 times in 2021 out of love for Carl and out of support for my friends.. why would I do that if I didn’t like fans? Or if I was rude?” she wrote on her Instagram Story over photos of herself at various events with her co-stars and fans.

“Why would i VOLUNTEER to be at more events than i need to? Think about that one.”

Earlier that night, Batula said on “WWHL” that “from [her] experience,” Hubbard was the “rudest to fans.”

The comment echoed former “Summer House” star Hannah Berner’s previous declaration that Hubbard is “the meanest person” she has ever met.
