While Summer House viewers got to learn a bit about Lindsay Hubbard's now-ex Turner Kufe throughout Season 9, a previously unseen moment from the show revealed even more about the former couple's relationship.
During a special Summer House: Under the Covers episode featuring never-before-seen moments from the season, Lindsay got together with longtime friend Kyle Cooke to talk about their respective futures.
When the conversation turned to kids during the June 11 episode, Lindsay told the DJ that she and Turner had discussed the possibility of getting pregnant before conceiving daughter Gemma.
Kyle asked if Lindsay and Turner had been taking precautions against getting pregnant or were "just rolling the dice" as a new couple. When Lindsay explained that she and Turner were "being as safe as you can be without a condom," she added they were fully aware of what that could mean for them both in the future.
"Before getting pregnant, you had the chat?" asked Kyle, to which Lindsay replied, "We did!"
Or, as Kyle put it, they had "a little sex ed talk" to be on the same page about the possibility of Lindsay getting pregnant months into the relationship.
"I'm happy that you guys had that talk before," Kyle said earnestly. "Instead of having that talk for the first time after getting pregnant."
Lindsay Hubbard reveals Turner Kufe's initial reaction to her pregnancy
In another unseen clip from the show, Lindsay told Gabby Prescod that she found out about her pregnancy in April 2024, when she was on a trip to Mexico without Turner.
"I was terrified" to tell him, she admitted. "We'd only been dating since January. Now, here we are, three months later, and I'm finding out I'm pregnant!"
"How did he take it?" asked Gabby.
With a smile, Lindsay declared, "We were just both on board. We're just so happy."
Is Lindsay Hubbard still dating Turner Kufe?
No. As Lindsay revealed at the Summer House Season 9 reunion, she and Turner are no longer together.
However, they remain "best friends" and are co-parenting daughter Gemma harmoniously.
As for any chance of romantic reconciliation, Lindsay declared, "We'll see what happens in the future, but as of right this second, I think there's a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It's too much at once."
