Myleene Klass has showed off her 'new office' as she revealed a major personal achievement away from her music career and TV roles.

The former Hear'Say singer has been working away on becoming a first aider with St John Ambulance. She has worked with St John in an ambassador role since the launch of its ‘Ask Me’ brand campaign in 2021.

The musician, television and radio presenter has personally experienced situations where first aid has saved the lives of her loved ones, as on separate occasions two of her children have had terrifying choking incidents.

Myleene has now revealed that she is a trained volunteer having been put through her paces in training. The 46-year-old shared the news on Instagram, posting a carousel of photos of herself in uniform alongside an ambulance.

"Check out my new office," she wrote alongside the post: "Thank you for your countless messages of love and support. Im so proud to be a part of the @stjohn_ambulance family, serving my community officially and as ambassador. I don’t think anyone (myself included) realises how much work and study goes into it.

"It's easy to take the guys in green coats for granted thinking they just volunteer for events and sporting fixtures, but honestly, the practical and written exams, the A&E doctors training and testing you, the kit prep alone and the weekly top up reminder classes, whilst alot are also massively reassuring, and all actions are carried out with dignity to the patient as the priority at ALL times. I can safely confirm, you and your loved ones are in the best of hands.

"Oh, for the record, @chappellroan’s Pink pony club is perfect for timing CPR compressions. (As is Staying alive and baby shark, depending on your musical predilections)."

It came after a previous post in which she confirmed she's passed her training and shared a glimpse at the process in a video. "Officially Certified. Yay! I passed!" the Loose Women star revealed.

"This is what I’ve been working on for the few past weeks/weekends, getting my training in and studying for my exam modules. I’ve been an ambassador for @stjohn_ambulance for some time now but it felt right to make my dedication and training official.

"I’m so proud to wear the uniform, represent the work they do and take up my role of volunteer in the community.Thank you to the incredible team who trained me (@sam.kennard_ @richarddsalter) and to my colleagues and fellow students.

"I look forward to getting more first aid out there. The thought that in Cardiac arrests outside of hospital, 80% of cases will require a loved one to perform CPR. How scary is that?! You could be called on at any moment to save a life."I saved both my girls from choking - one as a baby, one a tween, and it was absolutely terrifying. The only thing worse would have been not knowing what to do. This might be your sign to get first aid trained. See you out there. It’s now my honour to serve with @stjohn_ambulance."

Fellow Loose Women star Penny Lancaster was quick to respond, as she said: "Great job! Such an important skill to learn." Former I'm A Celebrity co-star Gillian McKeith shared: "Well done. This is something everyone should learn. Congratulations. You are tenacious, dedicated, inspiring and a fabulous role model!!!"

@nieeyore commented: "Absolutely love this, so so refreshing to see people take their roles as ambassadors & be able to become something more, & also to really use your platform to encourage others. Huge congratulations." @the_mutha_ship wrote: "E P I C job well done."

@val_lomas shared: "Wow! How much more can you fit in? You really are WonderWoman." @strachangraham posted: "Brilliant well done Myleene." @irish_guy_feelings_outlet added: "Congratulations, your an inspiration that we could all learn from."
