Lenny Hochstein's mom shades Lisa while celebrating son's engagement to his 'mistress' tram

Just call her Mariana “monster-in-law” Hochstein.

Lenny Hochstein’s mom chose to shade her estranged daughter-in-law, “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein, while congratulating her plastic surgeon son on his recent engagement to his “mistress”-turned-girlfriend.

“I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love [sic] and respect you,” Mariana, who is from Russia, commented beneath Lenny and Katharina Mazepa’s joint Instagram announcement Saturday.

“You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage,” she added. “Good luck congratulations ❤️.”

Mariana’s message did not sit well the majority of fans, as many called her a “terrible grandmother” for publicly dragging the mother of her grandchildren: 8-year-old Logan and 3-year-old Elle.

“I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love [sic] and respect you,” Mariana wrote. “You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage.”

“She would not be seeing my children after that,” one critic commented on Queens of Bravo’s Instagram, as another added, “If I were Lisa, I wouldn’t trust [my] former mil [mother-in-law] with the children. She probably talks badly about their mother when they’re with her.”

“Diss [sic] the mother of your grandchild[ren]? Who was married to your son for over 13 years?!?” a third netizen remarked, while another wrote, “Wow.. I guess we see where Lenny gets his vindictiveness from..”

Though Mariana showed Lisa, 41, empathy when Lenny, 57, first left her for Mazepa, 27, last year, several social media users believe that “the only reason Marina switched sides is because Lenny threatened to cut her off financially.”

However, Mariana does have a handful of defenders, with one of them arguing, “That’s his mother she is entitled to say that.”

Lenny proposed to Mazepa with a large diamond ring while standing “on top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset,” in Ibiza, Spain — just a few days after Lisa’s 41st birthday.

“We are delighted to announce the engagement of a truly extraordinary couple, Katharina and Lenny,” the model’s manager said in a statement to Page Six. “Their love story has blossomed into a beautiful union, filled with passion, understanding and unwavering commitment.”

“As they embark on this journey together,” the statement continued, “we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their future filled with love, light and happiness.”

Though the newly betrothed couple’s post drew a surprising amount of positive responses, an overwhelming number of dissenters pointed out that the engagement came very soon after Lenny filed to end his 13-year marriage to Lisa in May 2022.

Though we’re told the estranged couple are close to settling their excruciatingly bitter divorce, they are still legally married.

“Happy for you, but your [sic] not even divorced yet,” one of many fans noted, as others left comments like, “Fresh out of one marriage and already in another?”

Lisa, for her part, took to her Instagram Story shortly after the news broke to write, “Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement.”

As for the future Mrs. Hochstein 2.0, Mazepa has repeatedly insisted that she and Lenny “started seeing each other after [they] had both separated from [their] spouses.”

Katharina’s divorce from her first husband, Shilo Mazepa, was finalized in April.
