Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton are celebrating another year of marriage!
The Love Is Blind stars, who met while filming season 1 of the hit Netflix series in October 2018, celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary with a shared Instagram post on Saturday, November 16. To commemorate the event, the pair posted a poignant note about their most recent relationship milestone, along with a series of professional photo shoot photographs of themselves.
“Six years of love, laughter, and building a beautiful life together.,” they wrote in the caption of the post, naming the crew behind their recent photo shoot. “Every day with you is a reminder that love truly is the best adventure. Thank you for being my partner, my rock and my greatest joy,” they added. “Here’s to forever, my love. Happy Anniversary to us!” The anniversary post comes six years after the couple’s Love Is Blind TV wedding and one year after their fifth wedding anniversary vow renewal.
The ceremony was held in November 2023 at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, and the “intimate” event included a guest list of Lauren and Cameron’s closest family and friends, as well as a trip to see Usher perform. In February, the pair told PEOPLE that they hadn’t followed up with the Netflix series since their time on it, particularly because it reminded them of their “intense” experience filming the show.”I believe there is an element to seeing the show that brings back memories, even though Lauren and I taped it six years ago.
“Just seeing the pods brings you back,” Cameron, 34, remarked at the time. “So it could be quite an intense experience,” he added. “It’s not simply about turning on any old show and enjoying it. I believe that viewing the show requires some sort of investment on our part.
So it’s simply something to keep in mind. The fan-favourite couple went on to say that, despite not keeping up with the series, they will “always be grateful” for the show that introduced them. “That fact alone, I’m always a fan of the show,” Cameron told People.
“Will we watch all seasons? I mean, I’ll always be grateful that they just keep the franchise going, baby.” Cameron and Lauren’s wedding anniversary post comes just days after their season 1 co-stars Amber and Matt Barnett celebrated their sixth anniversary.
Amber, 32, paid homage to her “favourite person and forever best friend” Matt on Instagram, posting a video of the couple from various years. Amber confirmed last month on The Love Seat podcast that the pair is expecting their first child together, and she mentioned it in her anniversary post.
“I know our anniversary is looking a bit different this year because this baby you put in me is putting me through the ringer, but I wouldn’t have it any other way and I’m so thankful you’ve always kept your promise to keep our life full of adventures,” she wrote to her husband, who is 34 years old.
“I’m glad you’re the person by my side as we go on the biggest adventure yet and I look forward to turning this 6 years in to 60 with you,” she added.
