Sweet Tea and Dr. Heavenly Kimes’ feud has played out on the internet.
“Married to Medicine” newbie Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford is having quite the rookie season. Although she came on the show with no intention of clashing with Quad Webb, the season hasn’t been drama-free for her. As we reported, she’s been clashing quite a bit with Dr. Heavenly Kimes. The tension started at the bachelorette party Phaedra Parks and Toya Bush-Harris planned for Sweet Tea. While at the event, Heavenly said she didn’t think Tea and Dr. Gregory Lunceford’s marriage would last. And she certainly did not believe they were ready to walk down the aisle. When Heavenly’s comments got back to Tea via her maid of honor, she decided to rescind Heavenly and Dr. Damon Kimes’ wedding invitations. However, the producers got the couple into the wedding anyway.
Since the wedding mixup, Heavenly and Tea have been going back and forth. Their feud has even spilled over onto social media. At the height of the messiness, Heavenly taunted Tea about her struggle to get pregnant and being diagnosed with endometritis. She also told Carlos King she encouraged Tea to do the show for laughs and for Quad to read her. As for Tea, she said Heavenly went upside Damon’s head with a pot. And Heavenly believed it when Mariah Huq accused him of cheating. So she suspects Damon has cheated. But Heavenly chooses to deflect and make storylines out of her costars.
Sweet Tea threw a little shade on X days after the Married 2 Med reunion.
