Keeping it real.
Bachelor Nation fans saw Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei fall in love and get engaged on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
The two have been enjoying their lives together and traveling the world since their time on the show and are starting to plan their wedding.
This week, Kelsey spoke with SI Swimsuit about her relationship with Joey and how it’s gotten stronger since being on the show.
She said, “I always knew that Joey was a sweet, kind man, but I feel like his goofiness has really come out more post-show and the more that we get to know each other.”
Kelsey went on, saying, “Joey was always really good at reassuring me, especially right after the show, and proving to me that he’s there for me and that he is going to do whatever it takes for us to work.”
And while they were initially thinking about a spring 2026 wedding date, Kelsey told the outlet that they are now thinking 2027 is more realistic and less stressful.

She said, “We really don’t want to be stressed. We don’t want to just throw things together. I definitely want our wedding to be pretty timeless. I want it to be able, in 30 or 40 years, to look like it could be done then.”
Kelsey shared that Joey also has a lot of input about what he wants their wedding to be like, saying, “I want the wedding to be a part of both of us. I know a lot of times the guys kind of let the lady take over, but I don’t know [about that with Joey].”
Joey also recently talked about delaying the wedding planning process on “Cozy in the Closet” with Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd.
The former Bachelor said, “We didn’t want to rush anything because as you know ‘The Bachelor’ is a very, very quick timeline and we’re gonna have a two- to three-year engagement to make sure that we are seeing everything through and learning as much about each other before we take that next step.”
We love hearing from Joey and Kelsey and we can’t wait for their special day whenever it comes. For now, we’re just enjoying every moment of their engagement!
