Kelly Holmes risks Loose Women 'family feud' with scathing remark on ITV show ngocc

Kelly Holmes risked causing a 'family feud' over a scathing remark she made on Loose Women, with the star promptly reminded she was on live TV so wouldn't be able to take it back.

For their fifth and final episode of this week, the ITV panel discussed everything from iconic Saturday night TV shows to the death of OJ Simpson and, around half way into the episode aired a clip from the much buzzed about new season of Married at First Sight Australia, after one of the brides refused to listen to relationship advice from her friends.

After watching the short video, host Kaye Adams opened up the conversation to her colleagues, asking them how they would or have reacted to feedback on their relationships. Kaye commented that she 'would never risk' wading in on a friend's love life, because 'the relationship always wins,' adding: "I just think, don't interfere."

Giving her take on things, Kelly began: "My friends and family have been with their partners for years and I mean years," before putting the boot into one particular relationship as she quipped: "How my sister and brother in law are still together I have no idea." A Sitting next to her, a concerned looking Loose Women colleague Nadia Sawalha responded: "What?! Do you know you've just said that on telly?" before breaking into an uncomfortable grimace.

Undeterred by Nadia's reaction Kelly continued: "I just don't know. But who am I to say when I've only had a five year relationship?" Reacting to Kelly, Kaye then said: "If it was family I might be more prepared to stick my neck out, because even if we fall out, we're still family."
