Kathryn Dennis launched an OnlyFans page shortly after she was reportedly fired from Southern Charm due to repeated no-shows and poor treatment of staff. But unfortunately, as she attempts to generate income with $14.99 monthly subscriptions, friends believe she could be destined to fail.
In addition to feeling that her participation on the often racy site is not “the best look” for Kathryn, 31, who is in the midst of a messy custody battle with Thomas Ravenel, 60, over their two children, daughter Kensington, 8, and son St. Julien, 7, those close to her reportedly believe she simply has trouble following through.
“I was not shocked to see that Kathryn has made an OnlyFans page. She’s never had a 9 to 5 job, so she found another way to make fast income on her time,” an insider told The U.S. Sun on January 19. “I don’t think it’s the best look, especially with trying to get back custody of her children, but I’m all for doing what you need to do to get by.”
Less than two weeks after launching her account, Kathryn has shared just five posts and has less than 100 likes on her page. And, according to the insider, it’s hard to say if she’ll post more in the future.
“I don’t know how much money you can make on there, we will see if she continues to post on it,” they explained. “It seems like she never follows through with anything, but it’s this or nothing for her. She has tried so many things; a podcast, kids’ furniture, clothes, an Amazon store.”
“She can’t even follow through with companies that want to pay her to advertise on her [Instagram] story for products,” the source added.
While it was suspected that Kathryn wouldn’t be shy about her content, mainly due to the fact that she was once labeled a “sex addict” by Thomas, she has been somewhat tame so far, posing on a lounge chair in a bikini in one image and being seen as a blonde in another.
“Hey you, your fav ginger here 😉 You probably know me from Southern Charm on Bravo, but you don’t know the real me – at least not yet,” her bio, which features her “anthem,” “F-ck With Myself” from Banks. “I’ve been on TV since I was 21 and just turned 31! Now that I have a place where I can be free to be all of me and taking reign of my 30’s, I’m super excited to be able to express myself in ways that I haven’t been able to over the last 10 years.”
“I feel like I am finally discovering myself again and am excited to share the journey with you, wings grow strong once the cage is gone,” she added.
The U.S. Sun went on to reveal that despite the fact that Kathryn comes from a wealthy family, she’s allegedly been blowing through her inheritance by renting expensive homes and driving luxury cars. And in 2022, she faced numerous evictions for “non-payment of rent.”
“I know she’s had money issues, and now I don’t know how she’s going to work, she’s never had a job. I’m worried for her, but maybe this is a wake-up call,” the insider claimed.
Southern Charm season nine is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year.
