Jenn Tran Handles Music Mishap Like a Pro During Her Performance on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ tram

The show must go on!

Bachelor Nation fans saw Jenn Tran look for love on Season 21 of “The Bachelorette,” and during the finale, we learned that the season didn’t end the way Jenn was hoping.

While she and Devin got engaged at the end of filming, he called off their engagement shortly after and left Jenn heartbroken.

Since her time on the show, the former Bachelorette has been shining on “Dancing with the Stars” with her dance partner Sasha Farber.

And this past week, she gave an impressive performance while handling a music mishap like a pro.

Jenn and Sasha opened the show by dancing a tango inspired by “The Great Gatsby.”

Everything went fine during rehearsals, but during the live performance, the very beginning of their music didn’t play. The only thing Jenn could hear was the click track until the music finally started playing a minute or two later.

But despite this unplanned technical difficulty, Jenn kept the show going and started the dance on time and performed like a pro, not showing any signs of worry or panic.

However, the Bachelor Nation star did admit online that she was nervous.

Alongside a video compilation of their dance, Jenn wrote, “Truly was panicking inside when I couldn’t hear the music in the beginning in the ballroom. But like everything else in life I pushed through, maintained composure and didn’t crack under the pressure.”

She went on to say, “With these dances, every little detail is so important to me and it’s been really hard in rehearsals for me to complete a dance when something goes wrong because mentally I’m thinking about how much better I could be doing or my attention is thrown because something went wrong. Routine is EVERYTHING.”
Jenn continued to explain how she didn’t crack under pressure and how she feels now after pushing through the music error.

She wrote, “I’ve learned over the past couple of weeks to keep dancing no matter what and roll with the punches. This past week that mentality was really put to the test. To deliver a performance to the best of my ability in that moment without being fixated on the beginning is something I’m so proud of (which is not something I say often) AND to have been able to achieve that on LIVE TV.”

The former Bachelorette also confirmed that she plans on going back to P.A. school very soon, which is something she had expressed wanting to do after her time on “The Bachelorette.”

She revealed, “And can I just say… I know emergency medicine is nothing like dancing on live TV but I’ve always been drawn to working under pressure which is why I LOVED my ER rotation so much in PA school and this further confirms my ability to not crack under the pressure and I'm so excited to be back in PA school in Jan!!!”

Jenn’s dance partner Sasha also shared his thoughts on their performance and expressed how proud he is of Jenn.

“I think I’m the luckiest guy in the world to have a partner like [Jenn]. Last night she showed me that she is a true leader. This girl has never danced before and to dance a hard tango like she did with so much class, strong frame, proper technique and power,” he wrote.

He continued, “But the main thing I want to touch on is, she saved the whole dance. When you swipe to see the live video of what we actually heard, there was no music at the start and she heard the click track and stayed in time with no music until the music started back up, in my book that’s a 10 so proud of her.”

We couldn’t agree more!

And to top it all off, both she and Joey survived the first round of eliminations and are still in the competition!

We are so proud of Jenn and Joey and love seeing them shine on and off the stage.

Bachelor Nation is so happy to continue cheering for them both this season of “DWTS.”

We can’t wait to see what other routines they perform!
