Jake Paul confirms fight with Mike Tyson is still on despite boxer’s medical emergency: ‘Nothing changed’ trucc

Jake Paul is ready to fight.

Despite his 57-year-old opponent Mike Tyson suffering an airborne medical emergency over the weekend, the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer took to social media Monday to slam rumors that their upcoming match is canceled.

“You love to make s–t up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes. Nothing changed #PaulTyson,” he wrote on X.

“You love to make s–t up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes,” he wrote on X Monday.

“Nothing changed #PaulTyson,” he added.

While Tyson — who retired from the ring in 2005 — has yet to enter the chat personally, his representative updated Page Six on his condition Monday.

According to the rep, the athlete “became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing” in Los Angeles after departing Miami.

“He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him,” they added. They also clarified that he is “doing great.”

Page Six reached back out for comment regarding Paul’s tweet but did not immediately receive a response.

Tyson experienced an “ulcer flare up” while flying from Miami to Los Angeles Sunday.

They added that the sports icon is “doing great” following the health scare.

Tyson’s match against Paul is slated to broadcast live on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 20.

He called their scheduled fight a “no-brainer” at a press conference held earlier this month.

“It was a no-brainer,” he confidently explained. “He’s the new up-and-coming guy on the scene. I like shaking the sports world to its core, and I’m doing that now. It’s just something I want to do.”

Paul, for his part, said their upcoming match-up is “quite literally the biggest fight of the 21st century.”

He added, “Because of the fact that it’s Mike Tyson versus me, but also the fact that it’s in 700 million households.”

Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in 1986 when he knocked out Trevor Berbick. He held the honor until 1990, when Buster Douglas knocked him out.

He holds an impressive 50-6-2 record, while Paul, a fresh competitor, has a 9-1 record. The former has 44 knockouts, while Paul, the brother of social media star Logan Paul, has six, according to his ESPN profile.

Despite his lack of experience compared to Tyson’s, Jake said he is not to be underestimated.

“I’m a natural-born heavyweight,” he gloated while announcing the fight.

“I’m gonna show Mike who has more power.”

“I think he’s underestimating me, I think everyone else is underestimating me.”
