Jacqueline Jossa thanked husband Dan Osborne for making her Mother's Day 'so special' in a gushing post on Sunday, despite claims their marriage is 'over'.

The actress, 32, who shares daughters Ella, 10, and Mia, six, with the ex TOWIE star,  33, took to her Instagram Stories with a snap of a huge bouquet.

Jacqueline and Dan were thought to have called it quits this month after eight years of marriage and were said to be already living separately, after he 'betrayed' her and 'reignited old trust issues'.

But it's been reported the former couple are battling to save their marriage after enjoying a 'secret night together' with the soap star spotted at her ex's home on Wednesday.

Taking to her Instagram Jacqueline gushed: 'Thank you for making my Mother's Day so special @DanOsvorneofficial'.

Before adding: 'And now I'm finally at the grown age of 32... into flowers so can appreciate them'.

It comes after Dan shared another sign that they could be back together as he posted for Mother's Day - with the whole family enjoying the morning together.

He shared a snap of her with their daughters Ella, ten, and Mia, six, and penned a sweet message.

It read: 'Happy Mother's Day @jacjossa. Our girls are lucky to have you as their mummy.'

The Mother's Day post comes after Jacqueline was spotted at his home earlier this week.

The sighting has sparked hopes the former couple are battling to save their marriage after reportedly spending a 'secret night together'.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, Jacqueline cut a casual figure in denim jeans and a sweatshirt as she left the home with her two dogs.

A source told the publication: 'Jacqueline and Dan still really care about each other and have a lot of history. They’ve been spending a lot of time together as they navigate co-parenting and looking after their kids.

'Even though they have separate homes, they’ve got an open door policy. They’ve been getting on really well and carrying on family life like normal.

'There is no one else involved and they’re working together as a team for the sake of their kids. They’ll be seen together a lot as they navigate the situation.'

MailOnline has contacted Jacqueline and Dan's representatives for comment.

It was reported that their marriage 'is over', despite Jaqueline's attempts to save their relationship.

Although Jacqueline wants to give their marriage another go, pals have reportedly told The Sun that Dan no longer loves her and wants to move on with his life.

The source said: 'Dan has fallen out of love with Jacqueline and there's no way back for him.

'Jacqueline is absolutely devastated and will do anything to make it work.

'Dan has told friends it's over for him and while he won't be rushing into a divorce, it's not a question of if they will, but when.'

Jacqueline is 'putting on a brave face' and the former couple are working on building a positive friendship for the sake of their children.

She was said to have wanted things back on track with Dan and 'there has been no conversation about divorce' after their shock split.

The couple went their separate ways after the former TOWIE star purchased a property without his wife's knowledge.

Sources close to soap star Jacqueline say she felt 'betrayed' and it had 'reignited old trust issues'.

But a friend of the EastEnders star has now claimed that while the pair are no longer together, Jacqueline doesn't plan to start divorce proceedings.

A source reportedly told The Sun: 'Jacqueline and Dan have effectively ended the marriage but she wants to try to get back on track, things have been very difficult between them but she still has love for Dan.

'He's still not living at the family home but he and Jacqueline are talking things through. There has been no conversation about divorce.'

Jacqueline married ex-TOWIE star Dan in June 2017 and last paid tribute to her husband online in July, which coincided with their wedding anniversary and his birthday.

An official statement said: 'Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye . They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together.

'Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents, something that will never change.

'Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other's and their children's best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.'
