Christine Lampard, Janet Street-Porter, Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards were on Loose Women when Christine announced they had some 'breaking news' to share.
Christine Lampard brought Loose Women to a brief halt today with some "breaking jungle news".
At the start of the show, Christine confessed they had some hot-off-the-press updates about I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. She was joined by Janet Street-Porter, Coleen Nolan, and Brenda Edwards when she cut in to share the latest scoop about their fellow panellist Jane Moore.
During the broadcast, Christine teased: "We've got some breaking jungle news for you at 12.35pm," and later spilled the beans that Jane would be braving tonight's trial alongside Love Island's Maura Higgins.
Christine excitedly disclosed: "Competing in the trial tonight is Maura and Jane everybody. Jane - her first trial," while Coleen chimed in: "I've been desperate for her to do a trial. I've used my five votes every night for her. She's desperate to do one. She's that way inclined - if she's going to go that far, she wants to do it.
"Every night where they've announced it, she looks genuinely disappointed that she doesn't get picked. But last night in the WhatsApp group, Kaye was saying I hope she doesn't get it tonight because she hates water and this one is underwater. But I know Jane and I've seen a clip of it today, and I've seen her swimming under the water. She will give it 100 per cent. She's so strong."
Janet Street Porter chimed in on the struggles of being in the reality show camp, highlighting the challenges that come with avoiding trials: "I think it's really tough to sit round the campfire and be someone who hasn't done a trial. You feel like a second division. You feel like the producers are looking at you."
Up next for an adrenaline-pumping task, Maura and Jane will face the new trial dubbed Fright at the End of the Tunnel. They'll have to bravely wade through water teeming with creepy crawlies in a bid to earn stars and secure meals for the camp, reports the Mirror.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming trial, we see Maura confronted with her fears as she exclaims: "Jane, I don't know if I can do it. There's an awful amount of spiders," while hosts Ant and Dec detail the task ahead, instructing her to press on to the next chamber where Jane awaits her turn. The question on everyone's lips is whether Maura will muster the courage to advance.
