It was another dramatic night in the Big Brother house as viewers decided which two housemates were evicted but fans say one should never have been saved
Big Brother fans say a housemate should never have been saved after they 'forgot he existed' following this evening's (November 8) sensational double eviction.
Lily, Emma, Ali, Khaled, and Baked Potato were all up for the chop after being nominated, with their destinies on a knife-edge, awaiting the verdict of the voting public.
The drama unfolded when Marcello, the new Head of House, saved Thomas in a surprising move, swapping him out with Baked Potato, who hadn't originally been nominated.
A week filled with dramatic twists and shocks, including a stern talking-to given to one contestant regarding unsuitable remarks, kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
In the end, Lily and Khaled were the ones voted off by viewers, bidding farewell to their time in the Big Brother abode, reports the Mirror.
Nevertheless, nearly halfway into the episode, audiences were taken aback. It had been such a stretch before a particular housemate even graced the screen for the first time.
Viewers immediately vented their amusement online, with one tweet reading: "36 minutes in and Thomas finally makes an appearance. I forget he's in there. He shouldn't have been saved." Someone else quipped: "Nice for Tom to show up hahaha".
Another viewer remarked: "Thomas has uttered a total of 0 words in the past 30 minutes and is making it to the final week."
And another added: "I swear I haven't seen Thomas once since Wednesday's episode.."
In another segment from Friday's action-packed episode, after yet more rule-breaking, Big Brother organized a bootcamp for all housemates.
Following Lily's declaration to Sarah that she would nominate her if she survived another week in the house, a clear rule violation occurred.
Consequently, all housemates were subjected to training drills under the supervision of drill sergeant Marcello.
They were also required to arrange themselves in various orders based on statements made by Big Brother. Viewers expressed their dissatisfaction when the housemates were instructed to position themselves in the order of most likely to win.
Segun and Thomas were ranked first and second, leading viewers to comment that the 'delusion is real'.
The house was filled with audible shock as Lily and Khaled were announced as the latest evictees.
After their departure from the show, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will gather their immediate reactions during the companion show, Late and Live, following the main programme.
Big Brother continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
