Gethin Jones originally shot to fame in the iconic children’s show Blue Peter but now regularly hosts BBC’s Morning Live.
This evening, presenter Gethin Jones will be joining the cast of The Wheel on BBC One as one of the celebrity guests on hand to help three contestants make their fortune.
And with the 46-year-old returning to the small screen for the Saturday night show, fans are understandably curious about his time away from TV, and particularly his love life.
Gethin Jones’ ex-girlfriends
Katherine Jenkins
Gethin first met opera singer Katherine Jenkins back in 2007 when he was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
She was booked in to perform on the show and the Welsh pair hit it off right from the get-go.
Gethin and Katherine dated for four years and went on to get engaged in 2011 but it wasn’t to be as their relationship came to an end later that same year.
He later explained how they had found themselves “in a rut” and that they “just couldn’t work it out”.
Lucy Mecklenburgh
Three years after his split from Katherine, Gethin met former The Only Way Is Essex star and model Lucy Mecklenburgh.
It has been reported that they met at a Give Me Sport event but the pair’s romance was brief.
She is now engaged to former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and they have two children together.
Katja Zwara
The presenter’s next love interest was German underwear model Katja Zwara.
It isn’t known how they crossed paths but they were an item for a year before splitting up in 2018, reportedly due to busy work schedules.
