Ilona Maher earns first ten score on 'Dancing with the Stars' 500th episode trucc

Ilona Maher earned her first ten out of ten in the ballroom on "Dancing with the Stars" last night for the show's 500th episode, redeeming her last place finish on Halloween Night.

The rugby star from Burlington, Vermont, danced in the show's seventh round of competition Tuesday night, after there was no new episode last week due to the presidential election.

For Tuesday's show, each star performed routines inspired by iconic performances from throughout the show's 500-episode run.

The stars also competed in an instant dance round, in which they were assigned a dance style and song just minutes before performing it.

"I was really disappointed last week," Maher said. "I really wanted to prove that I should be here, that I am improving, and this does mean a lot to me."

Here's how she did.

What song did Ilona Maher dance to on 'DWTS' last night?

Ilona Maher and her partner Alan Bersten danced a quickstep to "Chuck Berry" by Pharrell Williams for the 500th episode.

"To live up to this iconic dance is a tough task to take on, but it's the perfect task to redeem ourselves," Maher said.
