New Birth Missionary Baptist Church’s Pastor Jamal Bryant tied the knot on November 14 to Dr. Karrianna “Karri” Turner. Earlier this year, the duo announced their engagement, with the former also announcing that the latter will be the church’s “first lady.” The church leader was previously married to Gizelle Bryant.
The duo took to Instagram to announce that they had tied the knot at the Waldorf Astoria in Atlanta in an extravagant ceremony. 44-year-old Karri Turner graced the event in an ethereal bridal gown that was designed in collaboration with The Fabric Boutique, Jazella Couture, and Joyce Williams. The social media post was captioned:
This is not the first time the pastor has walked down the aisle. Jamal Bryant was previously married to Gizelle, a recurring member of The Real Housewives of Potomac. The couple welcomed three daughters—twins Angel and Adore and Grace—during their marriage that lasted between 2002 and 2009.

According to Karri Turner’s Instagram bio, she is an ordained clergywoman, author, pastor, and entrepreneur. She is the owner of the women’s online boutique Shop180West as well. As per her official website, her main projects are Life Behind The Collar and The NUDGE Mentorship Initiative.
The former helps women navigate being part of a ministry and the marketplace, while the latter helps a select group of women cultivate their spiritual, professional, and personal lives.
Karri Turner attained her bachelor of arts degree, specializing in political science, from Morris Brown College. She went on to get her Master of Divinity degree from Emory University’s The Chandler School of Theology. She also revealed on her website:
