She opened up on her feelings of grief and shared a sweet picture
A LOOSE Women panelist has admitted she's "completely flabbergasted" by the tragic passing of a much-loved pal.
The ITV star took to her Instagram page to address the shock death of her mate of 20 years - and admitted she was "confused" about her feelings of grief.
Actress Chizzy Akudolu, 51, known for her role on Holby City, is a familiar face to viewers of daytime show Loose Women - and has made many hard-hitting personal confessions during her time on the show.
Now she has taken to social media to share a smiley image showing her in happier times with actor Anthony Adjekum.
They were seen sitting next to each other as they beamed for the camera.
In her emotional caption, London-born Chizzy, who has previously starred in EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing, wrote: "Completely flabbergasted by the loss of such a wonderful guy especially since we were chatting a week ago!!
"I met @adje_kum about 20 years ago when we did an improv show in Edinburgh.
"Then got to work with him in 2018 on a film. He had an amazing talent and really was the sweetest.
"I’ve printed off our last convo as a keepsake."
In her candid post, she added: "I’m confused as to what to do with these feelings.
"If you knew and loved this fabulous man, I’m sending you masses of love
Fans were quick to empathise with her situation and share their support.
One wrote: "Yes. Grief is a strange and difficult thing! Sending love Chizzy."
A second put: "So sorry for your loss xx"
A third then posted"Sorry for your loss Chizzy, sending all the love to help with the grieving process."
One then added: "So very sorry for the loss of your friend."
Previously, Chizzy broke down over her addictions to eating and shopping on the ITV series.
Later in 2018, she updated the show and told how she was seeking help for her over-eating.
Last year, she also opened up on her cancer scare on the series after she "found a lump."
The star was thankfully given the all clear.
She took to Instagram to share her experience and pleaded with fans to "get it checked" if they spot anything unusual with their bodies.
