Loose Women's GK Barry invited her mum to the panel on Friday (March 28) as they opened up about their friendship as mother and daughter.
GK Barry joined the panel in August 2024, making her the youngest panellist in the show's history. She was also a contestant in the 24th series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! where she finished in fifth place after she was eliminated alongside Coronation Street's Alan Halsall.
While on the panel during Friday's episode alongside Kaye Adams, Myleene Klass, and Nadia Sawalha, GK Barry brought her mum into the studio.
As she sat down with the ladies, Kaye asked if the pair were quite similar to which Grace replied that they're both "confident".
Talking about Mother's Day, her mum Loretta admitted that her oldest song lives in America and so sends flowers on "the wrong date" as Grace smugly announced she sends hers on the correct one.
Loretta then revealed: "She’ll send me the card with the most shocking picture and say you think this is bad, you wanna see the care home" to which the panel burst into laughter at.
Kaye then followed up by asking if they see themselves as best friends rather than just mother and daughter. Grace replied: "You’ve been my mum when I was younger, but now I'm older you’re my mum still but we’re friends."
Loretta nodded as she said: "We have a laugh when we go out". She then continued: "We get on really well I don't have such a close relationship with Oliver because of the distance."
Lead panellist Kaye joked that must mean Grace is the favourite child after all. Loretta then shared what it was like visiting her daughter in the I'm a Celeb jungle.
She shared: "It was working out really well, they said right we’re going to take you in", before revealing "You know the bridges? I've got a fear of heights and I didn’t know I was going on those, I went on four of them."
Loretta continued by adding that "it's not a set" and it feels a lot smaller in person than it looks on television. She also confirmed that they really do eat the food in the jungle and "there’s no secret pizzas or anything like that".
Loose Women airs on weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
