Mia Thornton Explains the Real Reason She and Inc Broke Up: "I Need..." tram

Mia Thornton is shedding new light on her recent split from Incognito aka Inc.

The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member announced her breakup from the Atlanta-based radio host, who has appeared throughout Season 9, on January 1. Fast-forward to the January 26 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and Mia confirmed that the two are still "not currently" together. She revealed that he felt like their "brand[s]" were not "align[ed]," which led to the split.

"I respect that," she said, before sharing where the exes stand today. "Now, he's my best friend, and he will forever be my best friend. Are we exclusive and are we dating? No. It has bridged a gap between us two, which is fine."

Fellow guest Quad Webb wondered why Inc suddenly felt a misalignment in their brands, since he knew what Mia's career and life entailed when they picked their relationship back up in 2023.

"To his defense, I need to get a divorce first," Mia responded, referring to her 2023 separation from Gordon Thornton. "But, I need to get a divorce first, so we're gonna work on that. We're gonna focus on G, we're gonna focus on the kids."

Mia Thornton hints at a possible reconciliation with Inc

The entrepreneur is single at the moment, but it seems like she is open to getting back together with Inc in the future.

"And then, Inc, he's not going anywhere. What's meant to be is forever," she added on WWHL, before referencing her Season 9 tagline, which is "Marriage can be temporary, but Inc is permanent."

"He's permanent. Whether you see him or not, Inc is permanent," she concluded.

Mia Thornton reveals an update on her family plans

The mom of three has gone through some major changes in her personal life, but she's looking to expand her family at some point in the future.

When asked if she would be open to having more kids, Mia said, "I would love to have another child."

"I don't know with who," she joked. "But I would love to have another child."

Back in November 2024, before her breakup, Mia told The Daily Dish that Inc wanted to have "more children."

"We’re taking our time, and when the time comes we will make that decision. But I’m definitely exploring options, like freezing my eggs and things like that," Mia explained. "Because you know my biological clock is ticking. It might have tocked."

Mia's relationship status may have changed, but her desire to grow her family has not.
