Looking for something a bit different to do on an evening next month? The Manchester Opera House is playing host to exciting new stage production '2:22 A Ghost Story', which casts too Strictly Come Dancing stars in the leading roles.

Described as an 'edge of your seat supernatural thriller', it's a ghost story about a couple that just moves into a new home and are convinced that it's haunted. They stay up late until 2:22 in the morning with their first dinner party guests as all manner of spooky happenings occur.

In the leading roles are Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who are widely recognised for their appearances as a couple on Strictly Come Dancing having gone on to win the show in 2018. Acting against them are Shvorne Marks and Grant Kilburn, the former of whom audiences might recognise from her appearance in Three Little Birds and Get Millie Back.

The stage production has been written by Danny Robins who's dabbled in plenty of ghost stories in his previous work. He's known for the BBC podcasts Uncanny and The Battersea Poltergeist which both focus on supposed supernatural occurrences.

Despite being a ghost story, 2:22 is also described as being 'brilliantly funny', making it a well-balanced night out if you're at a loose end in August. The show opens on August 7 with it running until Saturday, August 16.
