Geordie Shore legend Sophie Kasaei and boyfriend Jordan Brook 'QUIT the show' leaving cast 'upset' and 'confused' ngocc

Geordie Shore legend Sophie Kasaei and her boyfriend Jordan Brook have reportedly quit the MTV show.

With filming due to begin in Portugal later this week, it is said to have thrown the new series into chaos and left cast members 'upset and confused'.

A source told the Mirror: 'Sophie and Jordan pulled out last-minute, and it's caused mayhem. The rest of the cast are upset and confused – they feel it won't be the same without them.

'Nobody's quite sure what's gone on… it happened days before everyone was flying out to Portugal and it's the talk of the show.'

MailOnline has contacted Sophie and Jordan's representatives for comment.

Sophie has been a fan favourite on Geordie Shore since the show's 2011 launch, and joined rival show TOWIE in 2023.

Earlier this year, the couple were hit with a sex ban during the recording of the new series of Geordie Shore.

During the filming of series 24, reality TV bosses demanded that the men and women slept in separate bedrooms during their filming days in Thailand.

This meant that the couple, who have been dating since November 2022, could not shared a bed or a room.

Jordan told the Daily Star: 'We were there for a stag do, so the producers wanted the stags all staying together and the hens all staying together.'

Sophie added: 'There was a girls room and a boys room. We weren't allowed to stay in the same room, so we couldn't sleep next to each other and have sex.'

The couple were said to be so frustrated by the set up that they begged producers to make an exception for them to stay together during the lavish getaway.

Sophie said: 'When we were off camera, we went to the producers and said, 'Please just let us have a room together'. But they still wouldn't do it.'

But they said this did not stop them from having some intimate moments together as they found some time to have some alone time.

Sphie joined The Only Way Is Essex back in 2023, in the first ever crossover between the reality shows.

She was reportedly brought on to the show in a bid to help to resurrect the series.

A source revealed at the time: 'Sophie has been on reality TV for over 12 years, she knows what makes a good show.

'Producers are really excited that she's joining TOWIE and hopes she will bring some of her fiery Geordie energy to the cast.'

Sophie was an original Geordie Shore cast member when the show first launched in 2011 alongside the likes of Charlotte Crosby, Vicky Pattison, Gary Beadle, and Holly Hagan.

While former Love Island contestants including Olivia Attwood, Georgia Harrison, and Cara De La Hyde and Nathan Massey have all joined TOWIE in the past, no one from Geordie Shore had appeared on the ITVBe show before Sophie.
