Dianne Buswell has shared a very sweet but amusing goodbye to her boyfriend Joe Sugg as they went their separate ways on their travels after a 'magical' trip to South Africa.
Dianne left the UK earlier this month for a well-deserved break following the end of her latest Strictly Come Dancing stint. As fans of the hit dance show will already know, the dancer and her celebrity dance partner, comedian Chris McCausland, were crowned champions of the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series in emotional scenes.
After their emotional win, the pair went their separate ways and Dianne was able enjoy the Christmas and New Year break with Joe and her family, who travelled from Australia to be with them, before she kicked off 2025 by reuniting with her Strictly co-stars for the hit dance programme's live shows.
Shortly after the string of arena show had wrapped up, Dianne was on the plane with Joe as they headed to South Africa for a friends wedding. They were, however, able to enjoy their beautiful surroundings before the big day itself.
In one update shared on social media, Dianne and Joe were seen heading out on an early morning safari. In the video she shared, the sun could be seen rising across the Western Cape before they finally bumped into some animals, the first being a beautiful elephant.
Giraffes and rhinos were among the animals that followers, with Dianne captioning the post: "The most magical experience #safari #southafrica @sanbonasafari #sanbonawildlifereserve."
Now, Dianne has given a summary of the trip after the wedding, which the dancer described as 'beautiful'. Sharing a number of pictures to her Instagram grid, Dianne and Joe could be seen basking in the sun as it went down during the post-wedding celebrations while they she looked sensational in a bright maxi dress for the special day.
They were also seen doing some horse riding, kayaking and doing some general swanning around in Cape Town before Dianne revealed they were carrying on their adventures apart, with Dianne since confirming she was in Brisbane.
In a video shared to TikTok, Dianne posted a clip of Joe previously describing his 'dream' woman as being someone who understands and accepts his sense of humour. She followed-up the throwback clip with a video of Joe playing around by pushing his body up against a window and pulling faces as they said their goodbyes.
Alongside the video, Dianne wrote: "This is how he said goodbye to me," alongside a crying laughing face emoji and a red heart icon. She also wrote in the caption: "Saying goodbye in our own little way [crying laughing and red heart emojis]. Miss him already!"
