Olympic boxer Teremoana Teremoana wasted little time getting the job done in his Australian homecoming, securing a first-round knockout on Wednesday night.
The towering heavyweight made light work of Osasu Otobo, taking just 57 seconds to stop his German rival on the Gold Coast.
Teremoana landed a big left hand to drop Otobo, who failed to get back to his feet.
"Very happy to get this done," the Australian said post-fight.
"57 seconds, I thought it was gonna got a bit longer - but he wanted to fight and if you want to come and fight, I'm gonna take it from you.
"I'm glad he wanted to engage and I got the job done."
It marks Teremoana's second pro bout since a disappointing exit at Paris 2024, but the dangerous Queensland product looks to have wiped the slate clean.
His performance earned major praise from promoter Eddie Hearn, who believes the 26-year-old could be destined for global stardom in the coming years.
"They say don't get excited too early - but it's time to get excited now," Hearn said.
"I'm telling you now, Australian boxing is on fire. This is the future right here and I truly believe that Australia has a great chance at a future world heavyweight champion.
"I want the whole country to get behind this guy. He's a young prospect, a great man and he can really fight. This is a dangerous man that's now six fights, six knockouts.
"You could be looking at Australia's world heavyweight champion - get behind him."
Teremoana's unbeaten record as a pro moved to 6-0 after the dominant win.
