Summer House Season 9 has brought back plenty of familiar faces, but also introduced fans to three new ones: Imrul Hassan, Lexi Wood, and Bailee Henderson.
Each has romantic "entanglements" of their own. Imrul's polyamorous lifestyle has fascinated the cast, while Lexi seems like she's ready to lock down Jesse Solomon.
When it comes to Bailee, however, it's a little more complicated. In fact, as we found out in the Summer House Season 9 premiere, she brought a guy's suitcase with her to the Hamptons ... but wouldn't say the two are dating.
In Episode 2, Bailee revealed that she and the mystery man were experiencing a little tension, and that he wouldn't be coming out to the share house — at least, not yet.
Why wasn't Bailee Henderson on Summer House Season 9, Episode 4?
Early in the episode, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, West Wilson, and Jesse got together wiith Lexi and Imrul for a cheers to kick off the weekend.
Though they were also joined by friend Danielle Olivera, West noticed nanny and influencer Bailee was conspicuously absent.
"Where's Bailee? Does anybody know?" he asked the group.
"Oh, Bailee's not here this weekend," said Lexi, adding, "I think she's having boyfriend issues."
Ciara responded with an understanding "Ohhh."
OK, so, maybe viewers won't end up meeting this guy after all.
Who is Summer House newbie Bailee Henderson?
Bailee is a 27-year-old nanny and influencer originally from Lexington, Kentucky. She lives near Lexi in New York City, and they both joined the Summer House share through Amanda.
Described as "quirky" by Amanda, Bailee has brought a fun, laid-back energy to the house.
She also recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at her new "squad."
What is Bailee Henderson's relationship status on Summer House Season 9?
It seems like Bailee's relationship status changes depending on what day it is. She told Jesse she was single during the premiere, but then described something a little more complex.
"I'm kind of talking to this guy back in the city," she explained, "We're not serious, though."
Not only did she borrow his suitcase for the summer, but laughed that "I didn't realize it had a f--king AirTag in it!"
As fans now know, Bailee stayed in NYC for a weekend to work things out. But is it official? We'll have to wait for that news from Bailee herself.
