Longtime “Dancing With the Stars” cast member Julianne Hough is being praised for sharing numerous helpful resources amid the California wildfires.
Hough, who had to evacuate her home due to the fires, has been active on social media, doing her best to help those in need.
“OK, so, there is a fire right by my house. We’re with friends, but anybody that’s in the Hollywood Hills, I’ve just been having this intuitive feeling that we’re in a bowl of how everything is surrounding Hollywood, and now this is at the center of Hollywood,” Julianne Hough said on her Instagram Stories.
“Everybody needs to just evacuate. Go, go, go, go, go. Right now,” she added.
In the time since, she’s been posting ways people can help and ways that people who need help can get it.
Fans Praised Julianne Hough on Reddit
Hough’s efforts to help others hasn’t gone unnoticed.
“She’s one of the public figures I’ve seen most advocate and share resources for those in need. This says a lot about her and her heart in my opinion. Bravo, Julianne,” a Redditor said, kicking off a new thread.
“I wish that more public figures would use their platform like she has been. not that they owe it to anyone, but more awareness and sharing of resources wouldn’t hurt,” one person wrote.
“Julianne is doing an amazing job. I wonder whether they know what has happened to their homes. Her post the other day about their current living arrangements with multiple adults, animals and a few babies, so I’m assuming Derek and Hayley are there as well. Derek’s silence is interesting; I hope he is ok,” someone else added.

Dozens of people have filled the comments section, praising Slater for helping people get their minds off the heartbreaking things happening in California.
