Explosive RHOSLC Drama: Heather Confronts Bronwyn for Double Standards, Whitney Takes a Stand Against Trauma Weaponization, and Mary Sparks Controversy by Questioning Britani's Parenting trucc

RHOSLC Recap: Heather Calls Out Bronwyn for Being Two-Faced, Whitney Tells Ladies to Stop Weaponizing Her Trauma, Plus Mary Comes at Britani and Insinuates She is a Bad Mom

Being two-faced gets you in trouble, especially when you are a newbie on The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City. Bronwyn learns this lesson fast as Heather outs her to the group, solidifying Heather’s role as the resident sh*t stirrer. Angie is ready to be more honest with Lisa, but she struggles to move forward with her. Meredith is ready to be bat mitzvahed, and Mary and Britani continue to butt heads.

Lisa and Bronwyn debrief the next day after Lisa’s party. Because they are old friends, they feel comfortable unpacking all of the details. Bronwyn wonders why Britani came in hot with her and Mary. And then she wonders how Lisa can repair her issues with Angie, although she doesn’t think that Angie was all wrong. When Angie phones Lisa to invite her to chat about how things went down, Bronwyn remains quiet, listening in. Although unexpected in Lisa’s eyes, she is happy to know that Angie is willing to work it out with her.

They scoop Heather up, make a quick pit stop at Wendy’s (naturally), and continue to discuss the Whitney of it all. Lisa feels as though she has given Whitney “so much grace” over the years, but she is disgusted by her lying. She is equally disappointed in Angie for repeating her feelings about Whitney TO Whitney. Bronwyn admits that Whitney’s reaction to the whole gang-up seemed a little practiced and contrived. She even went as far as musing if Whitney practiced the scene in her mirror beforehand. This doesn’t sit well with Heather, considering Bronwyn barely knows Whitney, and so Heather decides she will reach out to Whitney later.

Because Seth has a new (other) position that also requires traveling, spending QT together is hard. So, Meredith has decided to spend what little time she has with her husband at a cooking class, obviously. They whip together some shakshuka, and Meredith discusses her Jewish pride. For once she nearly stuns Seth into silence when she shares that she plans on getting bat mitzvahed. Meredith is ready to take this step despite it usually being for 12 to 13-year-olds who are coming of age. Seth becomes emotional over Meredith’s decision and shares how happy he is.

Things are awkward for the once-besties Angie and Lisa when they sit face to face to discuss what went down. Lisa cannot believe that Angie told Whitney the comments she made about her. Angie explains that it felt like everyone was ganging up on Whitney and it needed to stop. According to Lisa, everyone is “frustrated” by this, but Angie especially needs to stop trying to convince Lisa to think the way she does. Angie, on the other hand, is done agreeing with whatever Lisa says. Lisa does a wonderful job of proving Angie’s point since she is not letting Angie get a word in or speak over her.

Lisa claims she doesn’t care if everyone thinks she is a villain or self-centered b*tch because now that she’s in her “mid…late forties,” she is not going to change. Lisa should, however, understand that Angie is done blindly agreeing with her.

We get a glimpse inside Bronwyn’s marriage, and we realize just how rich her older husband is (OK, Palm CEO!). Bronwyn met Todd, her husband, about 10  years ago, and ever since then, he seems most happy when Bronwyn is happy, even if that means making questionable design choices. The interior designer arrives to talk vision, and they busy themselves with a sculpture. Bronwyn goes on to share that she has been wary of female friendships ever since getting pregnant at 19.

Heather holds up her end of the deal by checking in with Whitney after Lisa’s party. Heather makes it clear that they were only trying to show Whitney her repeated behaviors, and that perhaps if three friends are saying something about you, maybe it’s time to take accountability. Whitney is tired of Lisa calling her a liar over her feelings, but Heather wonders what kind of “hilling journey” causes this much damage along the way.

Whitney really wishes the group was in a better place since she wanted to bring everyone to Milwaukee for a girls’ trip. This sounds super random until we realize that it would be a chance to go to Trixie’s bar. Whitney goes on to say that she’s already invited Bronwyn since she has been “super supportive.” This causes Heather to raise her eyebrows since it was just the other day Bronwyn was mocking Whitney’s behavior. Looks like Bronwyn is busted playing both sides. Despite where she stands with the group, Whitney will attend Heather’s upcoming adventure activity to try and mend the friendships.

Meredith is concocting her own bath bombs at her kitchen island with her children by her side. Her daughter is morphing into Meredith more and more, and I’m unclear why everyone is wearing a jacket inside the home. Meredith talks about her frustration with Whitney and her bath bombs, and she goes on to tell her kids that she is planning on being bat mitzvahed, despite her age, which Brooks so kindly points out.

Heather and her Mormon friend, Britani, play a little pickleball and then discuss Heather’s team bonding adventure invitation. Regarding Britani’s love life, she keeps breaking up with Jared Osmond, and she admits that she has sacrificed her relationship with her kids for a man. Heather understands how Britani can find herself in that position thanks to Mormonism.

Bronwyn pays a visit to Angie’s booming hair salon. Angie explains that she worries about what Bronwyn thinks of her. Bronwyn points out that nothing that she said about Lisa is untrue, thus making you question her loyalty further. Angie loves sharing that Britani is still talking about Bronwyn’s heart jacket, and Bronwyn states that Britani is “all over the place.” Bronwyn is not pressed about Britani questioning her fashion sense since she can’t even spell YSL. Ouch.

Heather’s adventure day is here, and she is realizing how intense this outing is going to be, both physically and mentally. Everyone’s there, including Meili and Britani, the friends of. Mary is already over Britani, especially after she called her poor, so being with her right now is torture. Meredith has tennis elbow “from churning too much butter,” and so she decides to sit out the obstacle course, whereas Lisa is being active — actively avoiding a few particular ladies in the group.

Lisa states that the rope obstacle course was harder than childbirth, so she is thrilled to find out her reward post adventuring is a food truck. Thanks, Heather! The ladies grab their food, and Britani makes a toast… about her relationship — she has been officially asked to be Jared’s girlfriend. Not only that, but he made it Instagram official. Bronwyn scoffs at the post, stating, “My best friend at Costco is the big announcement?” And Mary deada*s states, “I’m just trying to figure out why do we care,” about this information.

When Britani calls Mary rude, Mary points out that Britani was rude the other night, since she identified Mary as poor. She goes on to say that she doesn’t care about Britani, as she doesn’t even know her. Whitney feels like Jared should be claiming Britani as his girlfriend, and Britani gets upset since there is so much going on with her nuclear family. Neither daughter will talk to her, and Britani tells the group, “It’s so complicated and really personal.” Mary doesn’t settle for this response and wonders why she cannot make amends with her children. Mary is very triggered by Britani’s behaviors since her mother cared more about relationships with men than her own children.  Britani tells Mary to shut up because she feels attacked as a mother. But is it mom shaming if Britani admittedly chose a guy over her kids?

Bronwyn states that everything she has learned about Britani seems chaotic. She came in “hot and wild” to Lisa’s party, and Heather is feeling guilty now that Britani is getting attacked. Bronwyn goes on to warn Britani: “Girl, get your words tight.” Heather cannot sit by silently, and she points out that Bronwyn better watch what she says because she tells a different story to everyone at the table. She goes on to remind Bronwyn that she talked smack about Whitney, but Whitney is perplexed by Heather’s energy. It turns out Bronwyn said everything to Whitney’s face, as well, so it’s not groundbreaking to Whitney.

Heather is working HARD to make Bronwyn look bad, as the other women talk about a change of heart with friendship. In truth, Bronwyn is surprised that Lisa is not defending her, and she is actually making things worse. Whitney wants the group of friends to stop weaponizing their trauma. And we’re back to Lisa talking about Whitney and the podcast. Déjà vu. Whitney claims her intention was not to hurt Lisa, but she felt like she was provoked based on Lisa’s lousy friendship. Meredith jumps in to say she thinks she deserves an apology as well, but only Lisa gets one from Whitney.

At the end of the bickering, Whitney invites the ladies to Milwaukee for Trixie’s drag show. This is a good chance for them to hop on a private jet and bond together. Meredith is not sure she can make it, even though Whitney did her research and there is a bathtub. Can these ladies get themselves together for two days?
