Ella and Dan called it quits days before her Celebrity Big Brother stint
We've hopefully not got long until TOWIE returns to our screens for series 36 but so much has changed for the cast.
And one thing we're desperate to find out about is Ella Rae Wise and Dan Edgar's split - that seemingly came out of the blue - so when we caught up with the Essex babe in O Beach in Ibiza, we had to ask whether we'll see their split unfold on TV.
'You will [see it on TOWIE]. At the end of the day it's just a shame.
'We wish things went differently and you never know what will happen in the future,' she exclusively told us.
Despite TOWIE series 35 ending with Dan asking Ella to be his girlfriend, it was just days before Ella's Celebrity Big Brother stint that it came to light that they'd called it quits.
And while Ella admitted she went into the CBB house to 'push herself out of her comfort zone', she also admitted the timing wasn't the best.
'In a situation like that, it wasn't really my time to thrive. Going in there fresh off a break-up was really emotional for me.
'I tried to grieve [the relationship] as much as I could when I was in there, but I just couldn't because my mind was here, there and everywhere,' she admitted.
'So my grievance period is basically now coming out, because I'm not 24/7 in there.'
Well, the TOWIE cast recently flew to Portugal for the new series so we reckon we'll defo see Ella and Dan deal with their break-up in front of the cameras.
And as if it turns out, they're not the only couple that's split since the last series as it was recently reported that Elma Pazar and Sammy Root have called it quits too.
We can already tell that series 36 is going to be juicy.
