Dancing With the Stars pro Rylee Arnold is waltzing into a new milestone with boyfriend Walker Lyons — their red carpet debut!
Arnold, 19, and college football star Lyons jointly attended the Saturday, November 9, premiere of Wicked at Los Angeles’ Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Arnold stunned in a strapless magenta gown, which she accessorized with a diamond choker necklace. She smiled on the red carpet as Lyons, dressed in a dapper black suit, placed his hand on the small of her back.
“First red carpet together [and] first public outing together, so this is really fun,” Arnold gushed to Access Hollywood on Saturday.
Lyons chimed in to add that it was “super cool” to attend the premiere with “easily the most beautiful” date.
Arnold publicly debuted the couple’s relationship via Instagram late last month, sharing photos when she and her older sister Brynley attended one of Lyons’ University of Southern California football games. (Lyons, a first-year student at USC, plays tight end.)
“Is this a hard launch?? 🤭❤️🔥,” Arnold wrote via Instagram at the time, quickly receiving comparisons in the comments section to Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. (Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, have been dating since 2023, going public when the pop star went to one of his NFL games last fall.)
“Honestly, [it’s] so iconic,” Arnold exclusively told Us Weekly on October 29. “Like, that’s my dream coming true. Walker’s a tight end. Travis Kelce’s a tight end. I love it.”
At the time, Arnold noted that Lyons had yet to meet her DWTS season 33 partner Stephen Nedoroscik.
“We have a break and we’re definitely going on a double date,” she told Us, referring to Nedoroscik, 25, and his girlfriend, Tess McCracken. “I need Stephen’s stamp of approval, don’t I? But from what I’ve told [him], Stephen’s like, ‘Yeah. He’s an amazing guy,’ and he is, so it’s good.”
It is not known whether Arnold and Lyons got their date night, but they presumably ran into Nedoroscik at Saturday’s Wicked premiere. The Olympic medalist attended the festivities with McCracken, matching in green ensembles befitting main character Elphaba.
In just three days, Arnold and Nedoroscik will return to the ballroom for the Tuesday, November 12, live episode of DWTS. They are set to recreate Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas’ season 31 Viennese waltz before competing in an “instant dance” round.
“We just need to buckle down, get into those, like, technicalities of the dances, and really just work super hard so that we do not go home next two weeks,” Arnold told Us.
