Viewers of the show took to social media to share how much they loved the powerful emotion behind this week's dance between Salome and Danny, but it's not Salome's first taste of Eurovision stardom
It's Eurovision Week over on Dancing With The Stars, and with a bevy of entertainment talent all in the one studio, it's not surprising that one of the professionals has some Eurovision Song Contest experience under her glittery belt already.
Salome Chachua, who is the pro paired with Mrs Browns Boy's Danny O'Carroll for this season, was one of five backing performers that joined Georgia's Eurovision Song Contest entry Anri Jokhadze on stage in 2012.
Salome, donning a long red ponytail and a crystal embellished bodysuit for the 2012 performance, gave ferocious steps, but her Contemporary Ballroom performance tonight was a contrast with strong and expressive movement.
In Danny and Salome's chat with DWTS presenter Doireann Garrihy after their performance, which won them high praise from the four judges, Salome was asked about her 2012 moment.
"Oh my God. It is unbelievable," she said of the time.
"Amazing feeling. When you are on stage, you feel the vibration, it is just massive."
Danny then jumped in encouraging her to sing some of the song she performed to, which was called I'm A Joker, which she quickly rebuffed.
The dance duo performed tonight to The Netherlands 2019 winner and viral hit Arcade by Duncan Laurence.
“This performance was nothing short of mesmerising,” said Arthur Gourounlian, as the audience cheered.
The dance featured lots of powerful lifts and strong emotions.
Viewers at home were big fans of the dance.
One said via X: "I feel like Danny should make a move into theatre. That dance was proof he can portray any type of character."
Another added: "I'm sorry that deserves 10's all round!! Beautiful from Danny!"
A third said: "Salome take a bow girl wow!!!"
The scored a suite of 9s from the judges, a total score of 36.
