Season 33 “Dancing With the Stars” champ Joey Graziadei’s fiancee is receiving love and support after announcing some sad family news.
On February 22, Kelsey Anderson announced the death of her grandmother.
“Rest in peace, Gangsta Granny,” she captioned an Instagram post. “Seven years and a day after my sweet mom passed, it brings me comfort knowing you’re together again. Thank you for raising my mom the best you could, for the memories with Papa Jack, and for my curls—I’ll wear them with pride, thinking of you and your free spirit. Love you always,” she added.
The comments section quickly filled up with condolences, including a message from ballroom pro, Jenna Johnson, who was partnered with Graziadei last season.

Johnson shared her condolences with Anderson on social media, leaving a white heart and a white dove emoji in the comments section of the post.
Quite a few others sent Anderson and her family love during this difficult time.
“So sorry for your loss. Sending love to you and your family,” one person wrote.
“So sorry. Horrible losing a Grandparent. I think of mine every single day that have passed. They will love and guide you forever,” someone else added.
“So sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace and be reunited with her daughter,” a third comment read.
“Sorry for your loss Kelsey. I just recently lost my uncle and believe me I know that losing someone is hard,” a fourth Instagram user said.

Along with the tribute she posted about her grandmother, Anderson also shared some photos and memories from years past.
One of the photos was a screenshot from a text exchange that took place when “The Bachelor” was airing. There was a photo of Anderson’s grandmother in the hospital.
“Grandma is very sick BUT she is NOT missing watching you tonight,” the message read. “We love you,” the person who sent the message added, along with a red heart emoji.
Fans of the show know that Graziadei ended up proposing to Anderson on the finale of the season and the two are still very much in love. Although Anderson’s grandmother won’t be at her future wedding, there’s a little bit of a silver lining knowing that she knew that Anderson had found her person.
