any “Dancing With the Stars” fans are convinced that ballroom pro Emma Slater has hard launched the relationship with her rumored boyfriend.
On December 22, Slater took to her Instagram Stories to share that she was traveling to London, likely en route to spend the holidays with her family. Also boarding the plane with her was Alan Bersten.
The posts come less than two months after a source told Us Weekly that Slater and Bersten were indeed dating.
A source told the outlet that the pros are “hooking up” and that their romance is “not new, it’s ongoing.”
Slater was previously married to her DWTS pro, Sasha Farber. She filed for divorce in early 2023.
Many Fans Reacted to Emma Slater’s Post With Alan Bersten
Just after Slater posted from the airport, dozens of fans took to Reddit to react. The majority feel that this was Slater’s way of letting everyone know that she is, indeed, dating Bersten.
“I feel like she just lowkey hard launched it,” one person wrote.
“Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they finally go public this holiday season (Christmas or new years). I feel like whatever Sasha has going on with Jenn has made Emma feel like she’s more free to show that she’s with Alan. Plus if they do, then they won’t have to hide it from the public while they’re on tour this year,” someone else said.

Emma Slater Has Been Linked to Her Previous DWTS Partners & Another Pro
Since her split from Farber, Slater has been linked to a number of different people.
On season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars,” for example, some fans were convinced that Slater was dating her partner, Trevor Donovan. The two had a close friendship, but the dating rumors appeared to be false.
The very next season, Slater danced with Mauricio Umansky. The rumors that the two were more than friends got so intense that Slater and Umansky actually spoke out to deny them.
“For full clarity, we are not dating. We are really good friends,” Umansky said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories.
Slater has also been linked to fellow pro Gleb Savchenko, especially after the two spent time together in Las Vegas. However, when a fan pointed out the amazing chemistry Slater and Savchenko have on the dance floor, he was quick to set the record straight.
“I think then we are just great actors,” he responded. “We have good energy together,” he added.
As for Bersten, many fans found themselves hoping that he would date his season 33 DWTS partner, Ilona Maher. However, it seems as though he may already be off the market.
