Dancing With the Stars fans were left with their jaws dropped when Mormon Wives' Jenn Affleck recently showed off her dance moves on social media.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jennifer Affleck isn’t playing around when it comes to practicing her dance moves ahead of Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.
Affleck, 26, as well as co-star Whitney Leavitt, 32, were both confirmed earlier in July to be joining the ABC show’s cast for its upcoming season.
Their castings were announced not long after social media star Alix Earle was said to have signed onto the cast. The announcements kicked off for the new season with Robert Irwin joining, after years of fans begging for him to do the show.
Now, fans are getting a sneak peek at the two Mormon Wives stars moves as they share videos on social media of themselves practicing.
When it comes to Affleck however, fans are significantly more impressed–as she is showcasing her moves just over one week after giving birth to her third child.
Affleck announced that she and husband Zac Affleck had welcomed their daughter, Penelope, on July 2, in an emotional post where she also opened up about going through the labor unmedicated.
Now, in a TikTok clip posted by Leavitt on July 11 — just nine days later — Affleck danced alongside her co-star without missing a beat.
The pair cheekily joked that they were practicing with each other since they didn’t yet know the identity of their pro partners, but fans were more in shock over Affleck’s ability to move so well so quickly.
Fans quickly took to the comments to question how she was doing it, with many in awe and admitting they wouldn’t be able to do that so soon after having a baby.
“After I gave birth I was hunched over for 2 weeks…Jen is making me look bad,” one person wrote.
Others were simply astonished at how quickly she was dancing.
“Jen doing this so freshly postpartum is iconic,” one person wrote.
“Didn’t Jenn have a baby 30 seconds ago? Damn girlllll,” a second said.
“Wait a minute…didn’t Jen just have a baby like 10 minutes ago,” a third commented
“JEN! You just had a baby?? I don’t believe you,” a fourth added.
However, another fan pointed out that it shouldn’t surprise anyone since she was also pulling moves and stunts during the end of her pregnancy that most wouldn’t dream of.
“I love how everyone’s surprised Jen is doing this PP like she wasn’t literally getting on counters while she was 9 months pregnant,” the person said.
Affleck also surprised fans when she was still in the hospital, sharing a clip to her Instagram of herself practicing her moves while still clad in a hospital gown, as her husband sat in her hospital bed holding the baby.
In that clip, she clutches her stomach near the end of her moves, something she addressed in the caption.
“My pelvic floor might not be ready…but I am,” she wrote.
Her time on the show comes after she welcomed her third baby–she and hr husband also are parents to another daughter, Nora, 3, and a son, Lucas, 2.
Leavitt, meanwhile, is also a mother to three children–Sedona, 5, Liam, 3, and Billy Gene, nine months.
Dancing With the Stars Season 34 will air this Fall on ABC. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
