Curtis Pritchard, formerly of Stoke-on-Trent, is coupled up with Ekin-Su
Curtis Pritchard's mum Debi has spoken out after witnessing her son's ongoing clash with Elma Pazar and Sammy Root inside the Love Island: All Stars villa. Things between the four have been tense ever since Ekin-Su pecked Sammy on the lips during the recent heart-rate challenge on the hit ITV dating show.
Although Ekin-Su accepted she was in the wrong and apologised, it appears as though the 'beef' between the two couples has failed to settled down. Thursday night's episode saw things get more tense between Curtis - formerly of Stoke-on-Trent - and TOWIE star Elma after she, Gabby and Catherine came to the conclusion that "Curtis was the problem," which was overheard by the dancer.
During her chat with Ekin, Elma was also heard saying: "I find Curtis very jarring... it's a shame to me that we lost a friendship that I actually believed we were getting back," as she said it was 'never about Ekin'. At the end of Thursday's show, viewers were informed that voting was open to save their favourite couple just days before the final, reports the Mirror.
Upon Iain's announcement, Curtis' mum Debi took to Instagram urging fans to back her son and Ekin following the "abuse" they had suffered. "Guys, if anybody's watching Love Island, can you vote for Curtis and Ekin on the app you've got ten minutes. They deserve they have suffered so much abuse for no reason whatsoever, please, please vote for them."
Although the day didn't start off great for Curtis and Ekin, they ended on a high after being declared joint winners of the talent show. Ekin-Su surprised the rest of the stars with her impressive piano playing skills, while Curtis once again wowed with his dance moves.
As the Islanders voted for them both to take the crown, the couple were treated to a much needed night in the hideaway. Although Ekin hadn't yet been in the infamous room, Curtis had the experience with bombshell Danielle, which almost ended the relationship between the two.
Things may not be rosy for much longer, however, as Friday night's show will showcase a 'savage twist' for the Islanders, as they'll learn that least one couple will be booted out just days before the final on Monday. However, it won't be any old dumping - the choice will be down to the dumped Islanders who will be making a dramatic return to the villa.
The Islanders will learn which couples are in the bottom three via text, and who goes out of those vulnerable is down to their ex-Islanders.
