Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan has given an update on her love life after her split last year.
ITV's own Coleen Nolan has candidly spoken about her readiness to embrace love anew following her recent romantic disappointments.
The Loose Women panellist, no stranger to public scrutiny of her personal life, has previously been wed to well-known figures Ray Fensome and Shane Ritchie.
Her latest foray into romance involved Michael Jones, whom she met on a dating app. Their on-off three-year relationship came to an end last year.
Now, the ITV personality, who has openly discussed her concerns for her son's safety, is keen to venture back into the dating scene.
During Tuesday's episode of Lorraine, Coleen chatted with host Ranvir Singh about her aspirations to find companionship once more, reports Belfast Live.
Ranvir began: "You are now embracing single life, you are over 60-" but Coleen interjected, clarifying: "I'm 60! Give me a break, I've just turned 60!"
Ranvir then probed whether Coleen was contemplating a return to the dating world after her breakup.
Without hesitation, Coleen affirmed: "Oh god yeah! Your life isn't over just because you're 60. If I just turned 80 I wouldn't give up on it. No, I think life is for living and life is way too short."
Reflecting on her age, she continued: "When you get to my age, you realise there's more behind you than what's in front, so you just grab it and live.
"Especially with the state of the world today, wherever you find peace and happiness, whether that's with someone or without, then go for it."
Digging deeper, Ranvir asked if Coleen was ready to embrace romance again, to which the Loose Women panellist confirmed her openness.
Coleen expressed: "Yes! I've always believed in love, with everything I've gone through, and I've gone through a lot in that regard. I still believe in love, and I still feel I've got love to give.
"I don't necessarily want anyone's toothbrush in my bathroom anymore, but I'm very up for sharing, it's nice to have your person."
Reflecting on her separation from Michael at the end of last year, Coleen shared their decision to remain amicable.
Speaking to OK!, she revealed: "We've decided that we would rather just stay friends, take it as a friendship, and, you know, it's nothing to do with anyone else, it's nobody's fault."
Coleen's UK tour, This Is Me is set to hit the road next year starting off in Leeds.
Both Lorraine and Loose Women is available to watch on ITVX.
