Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, and Mia Thornton are back for a ninth season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. They’ll be joined by new full-time cast members Stacey Rusch and Keiarna Stewart, and “friends” Jassi Rideaux and Jacqueline Blake, who’s Mia’s on-again, off-again bestie.
Following the exits of Robyn Dixon, 45, Candiace Dillard-Bassett, 37, and Nneka Ihim, 37, fans are getting their first look at the new episodes, which spotlight Karen’s alleged DUI accident, an unexpected feud between Karen, 61, and Wendy, 40, and Incognito‘s belief that he fathered one of Mia, 39, and Gordon Thornton‘s kids.
“We have come a long way. We were in hell,” Wendy tells Gizelle, 54, as the sneak peek begins.
“This is a symbol of how I want my 40th to be, loving those who love on you, no hard feelings,” Wendy continues.
“When you hold grudges it’s gonna make you a bitter old b*tch,” Mia interjects, leaving the table in shock as Stacey wonders if she was talking about Karen.
As the preview continues, the cast is seen traveling to Panama and paying a visit to the White House with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, 50.
Then, after Ashley is seen kissing a mystery man, Karen asks Gizelle how she feels about her ex-husband, Jamal Bryant, 53, getting engaged to Dr. Karri Hunter, but Gizelle gives no response.
Elsewhere, Stacey informs Mia, “Karen told me you are not Potomac,” which sparks a big reaction.
“Is it Potomac to be a drunk [and] crash your car into trees?” Mia replies.
In another scene, Karen addresses the controversial crash herself, saying, “I could have died,” as Ashley points out, “Or taken the life of someone else.”
Karen also faces drama with Wendy after being accused of saying she was “self-absorbed.”
“What?” Karen asks, seemingly defending her innocence.
“I have always held you down, off and on camera,” Wendy tells Karen. “I wouldn’t have expected that from you.”
Later, when Gordon and Incognito come face to face, Gordon asks him, “You think Jeremiah is your kid?”
“Yeah,” Incognito confirms.
“This is a can of worms you opened,” Mia later tells him.
As for the cast’s love lives, Stacey admits that while she has someone in her life, they aren’t intimate, which Ashley, especially, is confused by.
“They aren’t making fun of you and me. They’re making fun of God!” her partner notes.
Keiarna, who appeared as a friend on season eight, is also seen with her man, telling him, “I feel like sometimes I shrink when I’m with you.”
“Well, just calm the f*ck down,” he replies.
In a more dramatic moment, Keiarna shares that she has a “very interesting” situation with Ashley before Ashley asks her about a scar on her forehead.
“Don’t ask me sh*t about my scar!” Keiarna yells back.
