For those who still enjoy a cable subscription, here is a selection of cable and network TV shows, movies and specials that broadcast this week, Sept. 16-22. Details and times are subject to change.

Monday
FAMILY FEUD: BEST OF STEVE HARVEY 10 p.m. on ABC. Steve Harvey has been hosting this long-running competition show for almost 15 years. During that time, there have been lots of high jinks, memorable moments and weird categories. This one-hour special walks down memory lane of Harvey’s time on the show.

Tuesday
DANCING WITH THE STARS 8 p.m. on ABC. A fraudster, an Olympian and a reality star walk into a bar … oh, sorry, I meant a ballroom! Anna Sorokin, Stephen Nedoroscik (a.k.a. pommel horse guy) and Phaedra Parks are partnering up with this season’s pros on the dancing competition. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro are returning as hosts. Will Sorokin’s ankle monitor interfere with the samba? There’s only one way to find out!

STOPPING THE STEAL 9 p.m. on HBO. As we approach another presidential election, former President Donald J. Trump is still asserting that he lost the 2020 election because of fraudulent voting. This documentary, featuring elected officials and former members of Trump’s administration, seeks to debunk claims of ballot tampering, voting by deceased people and problems with Dominion Voting Systems’ electronic ballot machines.

Wednesday
THE GOLDEN BACHELORETTE 8 p.m. on ABC. Joan Vassos became a fan favorite on the last season of “The Golden Bachelor,” but her budding romance with Gerry Turner was cut short when she decided to go home early to help her daughter with her newborn. Now she’s back as the Golden Bachelorette and ready to date a bunch of silver foxes.

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SALT LAKE CITY 9 p.m. on Bravo. After a really engaging season wrapped up earlier this year, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks and others are back for a fifth. Andy Cohen teased that this season starts with a full-cast event where the drama gets going right away.

Thursday
JERSEY SHORE FAMILY VACATION 8 p.m. on MTV. It really seems like Pauly D, JWoww and Snooki are on vacation more than they are at home — this spinoff reality show has now outrun the original “Jersey Shore.” For this eighth season, the gang continue with the usual antics, though they can’t go clubbing at Karma (it sadly shut down)

A rainy scene of a man walking on a New York street.

THE PENGUIN 9 p.m. on HBO. This new eight-episode series stars Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (a.k.a. the Penguin) and is a continuation of Matt Reeves’s 2022 “Batman.” The show picks up where that movie ended — after the Riddler’s attack on Gotham. Oz sees it as the perfect time to seize power, and of course things spiral out of control.

Friday
SWEET HOME ALABAMA (2002) 8:30 p.m. on Bravo. If presented with the choice: New York City’s most eligible bachelor played by Patrick Dempsey or hunky hometown boy played by Josh Lucas, who are you choosing? That’s the question Melanie (Reese Witherspoon) has to answer in this movie. It follows Melanie and Andrew (Dempsey) who get engaged. The only problem? Melanie is still married to Jake (Lucas), and he refuses to divorce her. The movie “jokingly refights the Civil War, with Melanie exemplifying a down-home Helen of Troy who was stolen by the Yankees,” Stephen Holden wrote in his review for The New York Times.

Saturday
ARMAGEDDON (1998) 8 p.m. on AMC. If you can’t get enough of this movie about an asteroid that might collide with Earth and starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thorton and Ben Affleck you are in luck — AMC is airing the director’s cut of the movie, which brings the total run time to three hours and 30 minutes. “The story needn’t be followed closely, since the music constantly informs viewers whether to be happy or sad,” Janet Maslin wrote in her review for The Times.

Sunday
TV ON EDGE 9 p.m. on CNN. In each episode of this new series, journalists, politicians and culture critics break down a significant moment in television history, including Ellen DeGeneres’s 1997 episode of her show when she came out as gay; Kanye West going off script during the 2005 telethon concert for Hurricane Katrina; and Oprah Winfrey’s weight loss reveal on her show in 1998.
