Chanelle Hayes has publically shamed a nasty troll who sent her a stream of horrible messages about her wedding day appearance. The Big Brother alum got married last month

Chanelle Hayes was forced to defend her appearance after a cruel troll asked “What’s happened to your face”, after seeing photos from her wedding day.

The 36-year-old reality TV legend - who rose to fame on Big Brother Series 8 - married her beau Dan Bingham in an intimate wedding ceremony last month. Chanelle treated fans to a glimpse inside the big day, sharing a stunning video of the celebration on Instagram.

The brunette beauty looked incredible as she said “I do”, opting for a beautiful gown embellished with pearls. Chanelle was clearly over the moon to be marrying her man, grinning from ear to ear throughout the video.

But one nasty troll seemed intent on wiping the smile off Chanelle’s face. On Sunday, the mother-of-two shared a horrible message she had received from one of her followers, criticising her appearance and asking if she had undergone cosmetic surgery.

In the exchange - which the reality star posted to her Instagram stories - the hateful keyboard warrior wrote: "What's up with you're [your] face xx."

Taking no-nonsense, Chanelle hit back at the rude person, replying: "I was laughing and enjoying my wedding. Thanks for the rude question though."

In response, the troll wrote: "Wasn't being rude Just asking a question Thought you might've had you’re [your] teeth done ?"

Determined to not let the horrible message put a dampener on the “best day” of her life, Chanelle sarcastically clapped back: "I was laughing and I have a goofy face when I laugh. I was enjoying my wedding. Sorry my face caused you such distress that you needed to reach out to me to point out something negative on the best day of my life. Appreciate it."

Asking her followers to take note, the mother of two wrote in her caption: "I had the best day of my life. Please all of you don't go out of your way to point out my imperfections. It's trolling and it's mean."

Sharing a snap of her wedding table, Chanelle continued: "I ignore the comments sections online, but when messages come directly to my inbox, rudely picking at my appearance (which was PHENOMENAL btw) on my wedding day it's not nice to read.”

Ending her rant with a simple request, she added: "Please think before you type and keep your negative opinions to yourself."

The star - who is currently training to become a nurse after stepping away from the world of fame - then uploaded a poignant quote, which read: “You never know what people are going through and sometimes the people with the biggest smiles are struggling the most, so be kind."

Chanelle - who was diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) three years ago - recently opened up about the impact of her health condition - which causes extreme tiredness - in the lead-up to her special day.

In an exclusive interview with OK!, the Big Brother alum revealed she had suffered a flare-up just months before her wedding, causing her weight to drop dramatically. Chanelle said: "I did feel amazing on my wedding day but I didn't anticipate being that thin."
