Michelle Tsiakkas told fans she was 'excited' as she made a joint announcement with her Strictly Come Dancing co-star. The dancer is looking ahead after landing her first celebrity partner in the hit dance show.

She was partnered with Jamie Borthwick for the 2024 run of the BBC One contest and fans had high hopes after the actor won the Strictly Christmas special in 2023. While the pair impressed during their time in the competition, fans were left furious when they had to leave during week ten of the BBC One dance contest as they landed in the dreaded dance-off for the first time.

All, however, wasn't lost as it was soon announced that Jamie would keep dancing into the new year and he'll be reunited with Michelle in January for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2025 which sees a number of the class of 2024 hitting the road and performing in arenas up and down the country.

But as well as a looking ahead to the tour, Michelle recently shared a fresh announcement alongside her fellow Strictly pro Kai Widdrington. Alongside a snap of the pair, she wrote on Instagram: "Super excited to announce that @kaiwidd and I will be joining @Donaheys Dancing With The Stars Weekends in 2025!"

She continued: "This is your chance to learn to dance with us, see us perform up close and personal, and enjoy a spectacular weekend celebrating all things dance. I can’t wait to meet you all, dance together, and create some unforgettable memories. @AltonTowers March 2025. Mark your calendars! You won’t want to miss it."

And fans were delighted. @sweetalmond01 said: "Fantastic Michelle, really looking forward to this!!!" @anyamae.15 commented: "This is so so exciting!!" @littlenx_fab wrote: "Can't believe that you are finally coming to Alton Towers for the dance weekend Michelle, I have been begging for you to do it for ages, you are a superstar @michelle_tsiak." @tallmartinh added: "Ah, congratulations. This is great news."
