We obviously adore her here at Closer online, but let's be honest, TOWIE's Ella Rae Wise wasn't exactly the spicy, pocket rocket princess we know and love on Celebrity Big Brother last month. The reality star has been very open about struggling inside the house, admitting to missing her family and friends and being 'triggered' by various aspects of the 'cliquey' and 'school-like' social experiment. Not to mention being subject to an absolutely vile comment from actor Mickey Rourke.
We just wanted to reach into our screens and give Ella a great big hug and get her an Uber Exec back to her lavish pink palace in Essex.
Thankfully, upon returning to Essex and being reunited with her nearest and dearest, it appears the TOWIE queen has returned to form and is back doing what she does best; serving looks, giving us top tier content and dragging the TOWIE cast in interviews.
Welcome back, girl.
Ella recently guested on GK Barry's Saving Grace podcast alongside her CBB pal, Danny Beard and after a couple of weeks of R&R, it's clear that Ella is ready to get spicy again.
When asked to talk about how her TOWIE co-stars reacted to the news of her landing a spot on CBB, Ella revealed that aside from bestie Freddie Bentley, Saffron Lempriere and Dani Imbert, she didn't really hear from any of the cast, and indeed, very few supported her.
After naming her TOWIE besties, Ella dropped the mic, revealing, ‘[I did] not really [hear] much from anyone else, no.’
While she admitted to receiving a few congratulatory messages from co-stars upon exiting the house, Ella admitted that she just didn't really feel the support from her TOWIE fam, adding, 'Listen, there’s room for all of us to eat at the table. I support everyone – as much as we’re a dysfunctional family on TOWIE, I still support everyone’s wins and I don’t understand why they didn’t [support] mine. But, listen, it’s noted. It’s a very ugly trait to have.'
If we had to guess, we'd say she's talking about her ex Dan Edgar, who she split with just days ahead of her CBB stint, as well as Girl Band and perhaps even her on and off friends, Junaid Ahmed, Joe Blackman and Harry Derbidge.
Aren't Dan and Ella still together on TOWIE right now? FFS, we can't wait for these ITV timelines to sync up again.
But this isn't the first time Ella has thrown shade at her cast mates following her eviction from the CBB house. Moments after leaving the house, Freddie shared a stunning snap of him and Ella on his Instagram grid, singing her praises with the caption, 'MY ELLA RAE WISE❤️ I can’t even put in to words how proud I am of you. You are our Essex queen and to go in to that house and be your true authentic yourself is a true credit to you as a person 😘 felt lost without you for these last 3 weeks but I am so grateful and proud to call you my best friend. This is your time now girl, grab it with both hands💘💘.'
Ella responded to the post, sharing an outpouring of love in Freddie's direction and a copious amount of shade in well, the direction of everyone else on TOWIE.
Ella commented, 'Love you with all my heart and won’t ever leave you again for that long ❤️ thank you for supporting me EVERY night. . . Unlike some 🫣❤️.'
