Dianne Buswell has revealed that she is being kept 'humble' following her Strictly Come Dancing win as she prepares to dance again with her co-stars.
The dancer is still riding high after winning the BBC One contest last month. Dianne was partnered with comedian Chris McCausland for the programme's 2024 series back in September and they surprised themselves by making it all the way to the end of the competition.
The pair were later crowned champions as they beat tough competition from fellow finalists Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to lift the famous Glitterball trophy.
Chris and Dianne have since gone their separate ways after Chris was unable to sign up for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2025 due to his own touring commitments with his stand-up show, Yonks!
Dianne, however, is still set to hit the road with some of the Strictly class of 2024 but she'll be without a partner and be among the ensemble when the show arrives at arenas up and down the country.
The Australian star has been giving fans a look at what she's been up to in rehearsal and shared some photos which gave away one of the dances set to feature in the live show, courtesy of EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his professional dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas.
Fans of the hit dance show may recall that the pair created a memorable moment during the show's Blackpool special as Jamie arrived for his dance on the famous Tower Ballroom floor by descending from the ceiling on top of a giant ketchup bottle prop, before performing a jive routine with partner Michelle.
And it was during Jamie's routine that the extra dancers provided for the epic Blackpool spectacle really got viewers talking as they dressed as various condiment bottles. It's now been revealed that Dianne will be one of those condiment bottles on the upcoming tour as she took to Instagram and asked fans to guess whether she'd be mustard or ketchup.
Fans were quick to mock her up onto one of the dancers from the original routine, to which she replied on her Instagram Story: "And so it begins," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis. She then shared a screengrab of a message which read: "Strictly champ to mustard/ketchup bottle is truly iconic."
Dianne then shared it to her Instagram Story and said: "Listen, it keeps me humble and who doesn't love ketchup/mustard.... apart from @jamie_b10." Jamie then reshared the post and added his own support to Dianne, writing: "And I know I'm certainly honoured to have the current Strictly champ as one of our ketchups or mustards @diannebuswell," before adding red heart emojis.
